Great Value and comfortable
Enjoyed a 3 night stay at Mercure in Wiesbaden for work. Good location, underground parking, fabulous restaurant/bar with nice ambiance. I ended up eating there all 3 nights. I’ll stay here again when in Wiesbaden.

Check was easy after completing the electronic check-in. Desk staff were pleasant. I would have appreciated the AC operating at a lower temperature. Convenient to dinning and shopping. I loved being within walking distance of the farmer’s market.

One should avoid room 209 until repair work has been done. The broken ventilation made showering impractical. In addition, some of the equipment was partially outdated. And did not include features advertised in the room description. Although I still enjoyed a pleasant stay, these standard conditions must be met in the future so that one does not question whether the hotel was worth the money.

Hotel ruined by an insulting restaurant service
First of all, let me clarify that our overall rating is not on the hotel side that was correct but the restaurant of the hotel. Unfortunately it is part of the experience and it is affecting our feelings about Mercure Hotel offer and services. I cooled down but the experience with the restaurant was just insulting. First, if you do expect a vegan option not only forget this place because not only they do not propose anything serious (the Caesar Salad without the chicken and without the sauce... meaning just a green salad but charged at the price of the Caesar salad...) but also they are judging your diet and your choices in a very insulting way. I was so sorry for my daughter-in-law to be so badly considered. the worst thing when at the end of the diner we shared our frustrations we were told it was a misunderstanding on her side ... Unfortunately all the persons around the table were able to hear about this misconsideration and blaming her was insane. The second serious insult was when my son tasted his glass of Sauvignon Blanc and noted that despite very nice flavour it was very acid... "piquant" and therefore undrinkable. We called the person acting as a so-called "sommelier" and was telling us that it was not true. That all the Sauvignon were like that.... I tasted the wine of my son and i do confirm that it was realling bad and i have a enough Sauvignon Blanc in my cellar to understand that his mocking smile was actually insulting. Never again...

The staff was friendly and welcoming but the room and overall condition of the hotel was a bit disappointing. The hotel overall looks a bit tired and is in need if an update and serious renovating. Certainly not up to the standards of a 4-star hotel. 2-star maybe.

We stayed here together with our children. Although requested before hand and also at the note upon check-in the baby cot that was eventually placed was not in good working condition. We specifically chose this hotel because of the pool only to find out that on the day we arrived it was closed for most of the afternoon for swimming lessons. Something like this should be mentioned somewhere when booking. The staff was not very friendly and even the manager at reception responded in very short and abrupt ways. In fact, he also had no problem having an open argument with one of his staff when we stood at reception. He did end up taking the discussion to his office. Overall not very professional, happy and welcoming. No bathrobes although we asked for them repeatedly and a very cold and unwelcoming space. Given the other options we won’t be back!

Wine festival stay
Had to change rooms upon check-in, due to dirty bathroom. Alina was super sweet to pick more rooms for me to see, she went above and beyond in service! The carpet has stains, but oh well. The room was in need to upgrades, which we found out at check out they hopefully will be doing in 2023. Like no carpet! Breakfast was very good with an omelette station on weekdays. The A/C was good because it was HOT in August. Busy place. Location was great for the weinfest and we will return! Parking connected to the hotel which I love. Beautiful lobby area and enclosed terrace area could use more plants. It's our 4th Mecure hotel to stay at.

Not really worth the money, as this is one of the mosr expensive hotels in Wiesbaden. Heating is with air conditioning, Rooms are from 1990s.

Don’t judge a book by its cover
I’ll start off what was great about the location. The location is excellent. Centrally located in the heart of Wiesbaden. The staff, all around were great, welcoming, and helpful. The lobby, lounge, bar and restaurant were also really nicely put together and modern. However it was my fault for looking at how beautiful the front of the house was, that I didn’t look past it before booking. As soon as I got off the elevator I was hit with a really strong aroma. The best way I can describe it is a mixture of old urine and a grandmothers closet. The walls were scuffed. The carpeting was so old and worn down that you could see the base of the floor through the carpeting. It was a little overwhelming. Once I got to the room, the smell wasn’t as strong but still around. The room overall was clean but everything was very dated. The shower was tiny and had to climb into it. I can’t imagine anyone in their 50’s or older would be able to safely get in and out. The shower didn’t stop any of the water from getting out so by the time my shower was done, the entire bathroom floor was soaked. Overall, not a great experience.

Hello, The Hotel is ideally situated near city center. I had an appointment at 9:30 the next day, onsite parking was a plus. Perfect spot for covid 19 times, Everything was sanitized.

Great hotel in a great location
The Mercure is located close to the city center (5 minute walk) and also to the main roads in and out of the city. Convenient parking under the hotel (which can be hard to find.) Great service at the front desk and dining area. Rooms are becoming a bit aged (especially carpet) but are very clean and quiet. Wonderful ice cold AC (also hard to find.)

Excellent hotel.
Great hotel 5 minutes walk from centre of town. About 10 minutes to train station. Friendly staff, nice surroundings. Beds very comfortable. Only gripe was 6 yo-yos for a pint. Felt that was a bit steep. But would definitely stay again. Also had a good few English speaking channels on the box.

Restaurant was closed because of a grease fire. I had a soccer team in rooms all around me and they kept me up most of the night. I had to change rooms. Great location. Room was clean. Staff was extremely helpful and polite.

Fantastic Nine Night Stay
I stayed here for business (and my mother was with me) It was the BEST stay ever. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We were there nine nights, and I can honestly say that every single staff member that we came in contact with was awesome. While I was away each day at business, my Mother usually stayed at the hotel or close by. Staff members always helped her, said a special hello, etc. The room was perfect for us. Two twin beds, roomy, clean, nice bathroom. I also loved that we were located within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, etc. I look forward to future stays at the Mercure.

This hotel is literally a block and a half from the town hall, so very centrally located and easy access to downtown Wiesbaden. The hotel was nice, the parking good, and the breakfast excellent. The AC didn’t get as cold as I would have liked it in my room, but it was over 90 degrees outside when I was there, which is abnormally warm for Wiesbaden.
