"the man and women at the front desk were amazing. they went above and beyond for us. we were in a car accident (rear ended) on our first day in Iceland (about 15 minutes from the cottages) and were very stuck as we couldn’t drive the car or make phone calls. we got in contact with them and they not only picked us up but moved us into a room in the main part of the building so that we could be close to the front desk to use their phones to make many calls back and forth to our car rental company....

"This is a very comfortable, spacious home. Very quiet. Everything you might need is here. It is, however, quite remote, 30 minutes on an unpaved road and 63km from the closest grocery store. "A lovely simple comfortable cottage with stunning views of the volcano and glacier, and views out to the sea. Bring binoculars we saw dolphins from the house. "The property was great to stay at that I even extended. It’s close to Bónus which is one of the cheaper supermarkets as well as a fresh bakery next to it. Bus stop close by making travel easy.
