"The host was responsive and the property had the space we needed. However, the alarm went off multiple times for no apparent reason. When I asked the host about it, he was in disbelief saying that it had been deactivated for some time. The code he gave me did turn it off, so at least we had an answer to help remedy the problem. But it went off three different times, once at 2:00 in the morning. Initially, he acted like he wasn't aware of our stay. When we arrived, the house was about 82 degrees, so that seems consistent.The hvac to the home did a poor job of keeping up with the heat and probably needs servicing.In general, the home was less stocked than other locations we have stayed. For the money, the size of the house was helpful, but we honestly feel the value just wasn't there."

My nephew has Autism so his reactions play a big part in our comfort, he felt at home and safe in your home, so we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place."

"Nice property, there was no sofa bed as ad described. It’s a chase lounge couch. No extra blankets, sheets, towels. We had 1 bath towel per person. Parking was great, fully equipped kitchen was nice. One recliner was broke, tv screen was broke in one room, no outlets worked in one bathroom. Overall was good, just need to update the ad that there is no sofa sleeper. Sleeping on a sofa sleeper and a couch is two different things. "

"Waycross HouseCheck-in was fine but there are a lot of things we had to go buy to make the house livable for the week. We bought pots and pans because the pots here are really old and distorted. One of the rooms has no closet, one room with a closet has no rod, and the one room with a rod, the wooden rod is not strong enough to handle all of our clothes. We were here for a church convention so we had lots of clothes for day services and night services. We also had to buy a full ironing board because the table ironing board is too small to iron our clothes. Thursday, just sitting on the bed, it started falling apart underneath. I’ve attached pictures.The hot water in the kitchen only worked for a few minutes on the first day. The remaining time we had to boil water to make dish water for cleaning the kitchen. The hot water in the shower, in the rear bathroom worked for a few days then it no longer produced hot water. The faucet in the rear bathroom never produced hot water.We have rented other homes in other locations and have never had the experience we had here. Many aspects of this stay have been an unexpected challenge. Extra money had to be spent due to many insufficiencies.I’m really disappointed. If we would have had an opportunity to stay somewhere else, we would have asked for our money back but there are not many options in Waycross. We made it work but these issues really need to be improved for future rentals. "
