“Good basic hotel in convenient location”

Hotel Capri is situated in a very convenient location right by Neimenplatz tube stop on U1. It is a very short walk from Praterstern/Wein Nord which is where the train from the airport comes in (Florisdorf line). Vienna International conference centre is 4 stops up the line so very convenient for a conference. The hotel is basic and very clean and was being redecorated. No tea or coffee making facilities in room but always available at reception. Tiny hotel bar, but good bars and restuarants nearby and an easy walk (15mins) or tube journey to Stephansplatz. Breakfast was good but no full English.

“Clean and Comfortable”

Hotel is in the northern area of Vienna but it is a pleasant, flat, 15 min walk to the city centre. Hotel staff is extremely helpful and polite & were more than happy to answer enquiries. The breakfast was wonderful with a large selection of foods to suit most tastes. The room was large with a decent sized bathroom. Unfortunately there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room although these could be purchased downstairs and taken up to the room. (This isn't a very suitable option for a late night drink though!) All in all a very pleasant place to stay.

“Convenient, good value”

I like this place in general. It's very close to the U1 station. The room is quite spacious. I had some trouble with the internet connection during the first day but later it was fine (for the technical-minded, it seemed to have trouble connecting to the hotel proxy server). The breakfast buffet has pretty good selection of food and there are some changes everyday. The staff is friendly and professional. I think the place should be suitable for family.

“Comfortable stay - recommended”

Nice stay - Comfortable hotel. Was in room 402 - was very spacious and very clean - Bathroom with bath - Really appreciated the comfort Breakfast buffet was varied - typically Austrian - good selection - good quality. Very good standard for a 3 star hotel - Would stay there again. Hotel is pretty central which is a bonus, but is also is also next to a tube station - Practical if one wants to see visit Vienna.

“Very Good Hotel”

Rooms were large, with separate luggage room a plus and the bathtub was deep, great for a calming bath. The breakfast buffet provided was amazing with more than everthing you need to start your day. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Great budget hotel”

Our thoughts after staying at the Hotel Capri for one night in March 2009: - Great value - Very clean - Fairly large room - Very helpful reception staff - Very well located right next to Nestroyplatz U-Bahn station - Included continental breakfast was nothing to write home about - Would definitely return. Although we only stayed for one night, I would happily choose this hotel if we went back for three or four nights.

“Friendly hotel”

This hotel is just outside Vienna's Ringstrasse, but still very central, and close to the U-Bahn. It's comfortable and quiet, but the thing that really impressed me was the genuine friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

This hotel provides a perfect setting for those who wish to visit the inner city on foot or via the UBahn. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was perfect for any appetite. My husband and I highly recommend staying here.

“Splendid hotel”

We stayed for six days on a short break and we could not have found a better hotel. The staff were most helpful and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was more than adequate and the room was clean and comfortable with good beds and well stocked with chairs and table. Although the view was the car park, this did not detract.

room generous size and facilities good for price. located just outside the ring but easy walking distance. metro station just outside the hotel.
