"The facilty is excellent in every way. The operators were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The only downside is the 8km of very rugged dirtroad to get to the facility. Average speed about 15-20km/h and that was still pushing the comfort level in driving on the road. But we'll still go again -- just to enjoy the safari tents the next time."

"I am in BC for work and had to stay over the weekend so I took the ferry from Horseshoe Inlet to Nanaimo. The ferry is easy and an enjoyable ride. The Savvy Seagull was a great place to stay. Very clean and the fireplace made it feel very comfortable in early Spring. Ray was very helpful and accommodating to my late check in. Thanks for everything!"

We loved the deck and hot tub especially on rainy days. Easy walking distance to Chesterman Beach , beaches groceries, and an awesome bike and walking trail that stretches for miles . "Quiet location, the view was interesting and ever changing with tide, clouds, boats and birds. When not walking, biking, shopping we played board games and watched a movie supplied by host. Laundry machines where a blessing. I appreciated the few kitchen supplies that where there(cooking oil, spice). Shampoo, body wash would have been nice to have on hand."
