The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Place is a little aged in areas (ceiling spots, etc). But the staff more than made up for it.

We have stayed here many times. All have been outstanding except this time. Someone in the middle of night kept slamming doors and it must have been next door bc it would rattle the wall the bed was up against. Which is really not hotel's fault. Also i do wish y'all would get NEW MATTRESSES. They are old and not so comfortable. But I love staying here bc it is easy to get to for me. Staff is ALWAYS accomodating. I always send extra directions and they always accomodate. I meet my hub up here bc he works at Mercedes and I live 2 hours south. I hate how the price is jacked up for UA activities. I dread FB season

Very convenient off the Highway and quiet. The room door has a strong spring and closes very quickly. It could hurt a little one if not paying attention. The bed is very firm and we are used to a very soft bed. Otherwise, its just a nice place to stay the night.

Off the highway, but isolated so nice and peaceful stop in our journey. Complimentary cookies, soda, water, and cheese and crackers we a plus. Check in was easy and person was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast hours are good

The staff did their jobs, but seemed to lack enthusiasm. The room was clean but had a bit of a musty smell when I first walked in each time. The smell didn't linger. I only noticed it when I first walked in, and I brought it to the staff's attention when I checked out. I would stay there again. The price was a big draw.

Greystone Inn hits a sweet spot in a range of hotel choices. Their modest prices and "close enough" proximity to Tuscaloosa, make it an excellent place to stay. The accommodations are not luxurious but clean and comfortable. The breakfast isn't hot but offers a variety. The exercise room is small with limited equipment but sufficient for my needs. I was comfortable without having to break the bank. What really made Greystone stand out were the people. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I especially want to give props to Venecia and Shay, the evening desk staff. They especially approachable and fun to talk to. V even remembered my name, a pleasant surprise. If you want a swimming pool, you're out of luck. If want eggs and bacon, too bad. If you want a mint on your pillow, book the Ritz. If you want a nice, quiet place to stay with friendly staff and don't mind a 20 minute drive, this is your spot.

Our stay this weekend was not quite as good as last weekend. Desk person was not as friendly. (Young girl). Our reservation was for king bed. We were given a queen bed. Mattress was very HARD. But I'm sure we will stay here again in 2-3 weeks. It's convenient for both of us.

Only downfall was that food options were sparse, BUT GrubHub delivered! So we got some pizza and snuggled in for the night. Front desk staff were VERY nice and helpful!

Stayed last weekend and this weekend and will be next weekend. Hopefully the rates will remain lower than other hotels in that area. Everything was great. Very clean. Quiet.
