“Great value, nice staff”

Very comfortable stay. Location is v good -near the station, and close to restaurants. Staff were very nice and helpful (especially as we were speaking English). Breakfast was v good, and we also enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant too. Very good value for money too.

“Nice hotel”

In a good location near the train station and lots of nearby cheap parking. Rooms were clean but fairly small; the double bed was next to the wall so not much room for the person sleeping on the inside of the bed. The bathroom/shower was nice. Free wi-fi was available and the reception staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast (included in our room price) was very nice; lots of choice and plenty of it.

“Excellent stay”

Very nice bar and restaurant, good range of breakfast items. Great for a relaxing break and handy for both Garmisch and Partenkirchen.

“Loved this hotel and hope to return”

I hope to stay in this charming hotel again. The front desk staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. Twin beds are available upon request. The breakfast is included and SO good. While the hotel is not elegant, it is perfect for a get away at the foot of the beautiful German Alps. This hotel is GREAT for the price.

“Exactly what we needed!”

Conveniently located near the train station and Zugstipzebahn. Room was a bit small, but cozy. I found breakfast to be more than adequate and very satisfying. I think this hotel was the perfect choice for our skiing getaway weekend. Would stay there again!

“Completely absolutely exceptionally normal hotel”

Can't think of anything that wasn't as expected, I guess this hotel has been around a long time and it has been around the block a few times and just simply works. Friendly and professional service, everything OK. No surprises perfectly normal. Location is generally nice, awesome if arriving by train. 50 meters to walk to/from station. Rooms toward the main street is a bit noisy (heavy traffic), but also sunny and great view so it's a trade-off. Haven't seen rooms towards back. Breakfast OK, again completely normal European buffet stuff. Room had baththub (nice), large and ok bed, but no minibar / fridge. Their internet wi-fi solution was a bit cumbersome (but it's often bureacratic in European hotels so no surprise there) and reception spotty throughout the floors, but good coverage in lobby and restaurant. They have some sort of bike rental thing I didn't check it out but looks like you can rent or borrow bikes.

“Don't Go Past”

The hotel is ideally situated near to both bus and train facilities, and only a short walk to the business part of town.A supermarket is within walking distance, as is an ATM. The dining room was had more than sufficient types and quantities of breakfast foods for us. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our only negative was that the pillows were ridiculously soft

“Good Hotel, lousy Internet”

The room was small but comfortable. Housekeeping did a nice job and the hotel itself was clean and presentable. The cost was fair in comparison to others in the area and the restaurant was excellent as was the bar. Breakfast was basic but plentiful and the coffee pot was never-ending. Parking was adequate as was the location. However, the Internet was non-existent in the rooms until the 5th day of my stay. I had to sit in the lobby with 20 other guests to get a WiFI signal. I purposely picked this hotel because of the Internet service advertised because I need it for my work. It failed badly and the front desk staff had no clue about it.

“Garmisch Hotel”

Conveniently located near the train station. We had asked for two beds, but were given only one.
