“Perfect getway for the entire family”

Oustanding experience. Wonderfully located at the foot of the Zupspitze with easy road connections (10 minutes) into Garmisch as well as rail connections in either direction to the Zupspitze summit (1 hour by the cog railway) or all of the other ski access points, e.g. Alpenspitze (5 minutes rail or auto). Entire hotel complex built around leisure and designed to support many outdoor and indoor activities, e.g., skiing, hiking, spa treatments. It also has one of the nicest indoor pool/whirlpools I've experienced. Staff is largely bi-lingual and will bend over backwards to accommodate guests. Restaurant is very nice. Depending on your rate breakfast may also be included with the room. It is also outstanding. Nice place to meet people from all walks of life and practice your german. Very friendly, comfortable and convenient place to stay with the family. Highly reccommended.

“Great family hotel”

Pleasant stay in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen area. Although a bit of a walk to any of the mountains, it is still a central location if you have a vehicle

“Nice, but very overpriced.”

The hotel was nice and the location was excellent, but it wasn't worth the price tag. We have stayed at equally nice hotels in the area at almost half the cost. For what we paid I expected more. Bathrobes to wear down to the pool would have been nice, but you had to pay extra to use these. Had to go outside to get to the pool and in January it's pretty cold so that's an added hassle. The breakfast was good, but this is Bavaria, breakfast in any hotel is going to be good. Overall I would not stay here again because I know I can get much cheaper rates elsewhere and the quality is just as good. That leaves more money for beer and skiing!
