"I was in town to attend a graduation ceremony and needed two things from my hotel: a decent night’s sleep and a decent breakfast.
Unfortunately, the room had very thin walls. I woke up at 5:30 a.m. to noise from nearby guests—their alarm, packing, moving around, and closing their door. I tried to go back to sleep, but a few minutes later I could hear them loading their car outside as if I were standing next to them in the parking lot.
Breakfast was also disappointing: dry eggs, bacon sitting in oil, very sugary yogurt, sugary orange juice, and mediocre coffee.
To be fair, the room itself was clean, and the staff members I encountered were friendly. But given the noise and the breakfast, it wasn’t a good fit for me."
