“Good basic hotel”

The Nobel Hotel in Tirana is a good place to stay if you just need a clean ,safe place to sleep. No frills, an ok breakfast and a great location. I would call it a 1 star hotel and if your not spending much time at your room its a very good place to stay. Right next to Skendenberg Square in the heart of downtown, many restaurants, bars, casinos, shops in area. They also have free computer for internet use.

“Great place to stay in a chaotic, developing city”

Everything was perfect about this place: location, staff helpfulness, buffet breakfast. I guess the cost was a bit more than we expected for Albania, but we could not complain.

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING...RAISED THE BAR!!!!”

The staff were so very helpful, polite and respectful. I am an extremely picky hotel guest and this DIAMOND STAR hotel delivered only the best quality service I have come across. I am so extremely happy with my stay, they have exceeded my expecations and have even raised the bar for other hotels. I am so happy with my stay and will only be staying here again. The location was SO IDEAL and BEYOND PERFECT!! The rooms were clean and well maintained. Beautiful place in the MOST PERFECT location with the most wonderful staff! Thank you for a great stay!! I will be a guest again!

“Fantastic basic hotel”

For a basic hotel, a truly excellent service throughout. I'd highly recommend for those who want quality at a good price without all the bells and whistles.

“Ideal hotel for Tirana”

Excellent central location, just behind the main square. Airport pick up is arranged for a reasonable price. Staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. Even the included breakfast was a decent offering. For value and convenience I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tirana.

“Excellent location and price”

For the price and location this hotel could not be bettered. The staff were helpful suggesting places to visit, there was no hard sell of tours, which is a great experience. They would explain how to get somewhere by public transport if asked and even write down the instructions in Albanian so you could show them if you needed help.

“Nice little place”

A nice little no frills hotel with extremely helpfull people working there. Arranged for airport pick-up and return (fee) but much better than haggling with taxi drivers at the airport since there is only an hourly bus service from there to downtown and if you've never been to Tirana, you definately want to be picked up. Hotel is located in what seems to be a row of business and apartments and may not seem to be the best but it's typical for Tirana. Breakfast was a nice selection of breads, croissants, boiled eggs, ceral, meat and cheeses along with the assorted condiments - plum jelly is good. Internet access was good in the room. Had WI-Fi but also had the cable in the room in case you wanted to go that way. Had a computer in the lobby for those of us who don't carry their computer with them. They can arrange for day tours to various other cities at a better price than some of the local agencies. Skanderberg Square is nearby with the Opera House, National Library, Et'hem Bey Mosque and the National museum. Unfortunately at the moment the square is undergoing a massive renovation and is fenced off - buildings can still be reached though. It's about a 10 minute walk from the main shopping area of Blloku with it's many shops and restaurants. Be warned though that Tirana can be very hot, sunny and humid during the day in the Summer but the A/C in the room was excellant and cooled quickly. All in all a good place to stay while visiting.

“A fair hotel with good price-quality ratio”

Nobel Hotel is in no way fancy or luxurious but a most friendly staff takes good care of you and rooms are quite ok to accommodate you fairly comfortably for a very good price. In addition, you get to the prime location next to the Skanderbeg Square.
