“Recommend go there with children”
It is lovely place with super servis. Thanks to Hotel Gala for fantastic holidays
“well worth a visit”
The hotel met with all of our expectations. The food was superb & there was plenty to occupy our 12 year old son when bored in the evening such as table tennis, free internet & playstation. The only gripe was having to pay extra for sunbed mattresses & pool towels which for a 4 star hotel I would expect as standard. Well positioned for shops & bars & only 5 min walk to the seafront. We went in February and it was fairly quiet but would not go there in peak season as right on the edge of the main bars & clubs of Las Americas.
“The Best Hotel Ever”
We attended the Hotel Gala and had'nt been there for 2 years. As we walked through the Building Everyone recognised us again and remembered our names. They all seem Genuinely happy to see us. The Staff are the most friendly and helpful I've ever had the pleasure to meet. The whole Gala experience is great. Chris the entertainer is brilliant and the Waiters / Staff Luca, Alex (Maria) , Snr Moreles are fantastic hosts and very good at their Jobs We will go again next year and the next etc.
“Would certainly stay again”
Smart looking Hotel, pleasant and efficient reception staff who took the trouble to ensure your queries or request for assisstance were met. Restaurant btreakfast & Dinner menus were adequate with daily changes of menu. Evening entertainment was of a good standard and varied every night. Swimming pool area was excellent with adequate service and attendants available at all times.
“Great location on the island!”
The only thing that upset me a little was that the guys have to wear pants to dinner and it wasn't mentioned anywhere when I booked my trip. My husband had only brought one pair so he had to wear it the whole week. Also, if you're here to party this is the spot. It's right down the road from a ton of bars and restaurants.
“excellent hotel and service”
same as above
“Nice hotel, not so nice staff!!”
Hotel was very nice, snack bar staff and breakfast staff very rude!! Totally ignoring people on purpose. Not alot of them speak english either. Breakfast below average (we ate across the road in Wigan Pier every morning) Very nice pools but very cold! One is supposed to be heated all year round, still trying to work out which one!!. Very close to restaurants, bars and shops. Not a lot of British People in the hotel.
“Travelling with baby”
Ideal hotel, lovely pool, internet, middle of centre, but didnt hear the bars, liekers is opposite, never heard it though. Drinks were a bit pricey in hotel and buffet food bit warm bur variety was superb and service was good, cot good and room clean
“if bed fixed I can not wait to go back”
Hotel food service, cleaniess, entertainment for adult, childern and customer service was excellent. (note the cildern programs during day and at night was extermely good, verity of shows at night for family gathering was good as well) Hotel's BED was not comortable at all.
“Extremely clean, quiet, comfortable hotel.”
Took a short break 29 Jan 2008 - 01 Feb 2008.The hotel was quite classy, extremely clean, quiet, and well decorated and maintained. The food was excellent, and plenty of it. The chefs were very cheery and happy to oblige late diners. However, the swimming pool was advertised as 'all year round heated - it WASN'T'. It was freezing in there. Recommended, except for the cold pool.
