“Great hotel”
The hotel itself was fantastic. The breakfast had every choice going including veg. The cleaning staff were interesting. We placed our towels in the bin provided for replacements only we wouldn't get back what we put in the bin. Otherwise the hotel was clean and warm. Great place to stay. This is a adult only hotel. Makes so much difference.
“Should be five star”
This is the second time i have stayed at the Coral Beach.Compared to other accommodation in Playa las Americas, and ive stayed in MANY, this is the one i would reccommend, unless money were no option. The staff are friendly and efficient,we had a light out on the balcony, ten minutes later it was replaced and that was at 10pm!They can book you on trips, and there is a photo service if you just cant wait for those holiday snaps. There is internet access at reception. The on site supermarket was very handy and extremely reasonable, the pool and surrounding area was clean, and not overcrowded, plenty of loungers and umbrellas to use free of charge(you have to pay for mattresses)The rooms were spacious and well maintained,if a bit dated, but very clean as was the rest of the hotel and absolutely zero cockroaches, which in Tenerife is a major plus for any hotel. There is an on site restaurant and plenty of entertainment throughout the day and night for both adults and children. I cannot find fault with this hotel and would definately reccomend to others. If it had air conditioning and had a bit of a refurb, it would be 5 star in my opinion.
“Would recommend this hotel Sunprime Coral Suites and Spa”
On arrival you are greated with a smile and glass of wine or juice, before they check you in, and if your room is not suitable, they are happy to offer you a different room if available, It is an adult only hotel, which is great and very quiet, there are two roof top terraces, with good sun loungers or round sofa's, with excellent views of the sea, very quiet and private for sunbathing, but if you wish you can lounge around a lovely pool area downstairs, The hotel staff are friendly and very helpfull, the restaurant waiters are happy to serve you with anything you ask for, and it is very clean, the food is hot and freshly cooked infront of you, the tables are cleaned immediately, there is also a good choice of dishes, but maybe not to every persons tastes, The bedroom suites are extreamly clean, with two comfortable beds, very large mirrored wardrobes, flat-screen TV, sofa bed, coffee table and chair, with good size balcony, plenty plug sockets, you have fresh towels/linen when you request at all times, and dressing gown/slippers, you even get a FREE bottle of wine when you first enter your room after check-in, the kitchen area in your rooms have everything you need, and is good size, with full size fridge, even an iron and ironing board, the bathroom has a large shower and is spacious, even has hairdryer and clothes basket for your used towels I would recommend this hotel, you do get some entertainment every evening outside the restaurant, relaxing NOT load.
“Can't wait to go back!”
It was perfect for us! Not overly expensive, and the rooms were not top-notch, but the location was superb, 2 blocks from the beach, centrally located near tons of restaurants and bars and stores, yet quiet at night. Gorgeous pool, wonderful staff! Not the cleanest washrooms, but huge rooms, all with private decks. Overall a wonderful stay, would definetely recommend it!
“Excellent Value for money”
I was very impressed with this hotel, the staff are very friendly who speak and understand English well. The rooms are clean and spacious. The rooms get serviced regularly. I think this hotel should be rated higher. The hotel is far from any loud raving holiday makers but a 15 minute walk away from the night life. I will use this hotel again.
“Good Allround Hotel”
Overall I have to say that the description of the hotel accurately reflects what we found when we arrived. Although I guess the hotel was probably built in the late 80's early 90's the place was well maintained and clean. The rooms were tidy and they were cleaned with towel changes almost daily. We self-catered therefore I can't comment on the food however the staff were excellent: friendly and efficient. I stayed in September and as such we didn't need air conditioning however I guess in July / August it would be useful. There were ample sunbeds and no arguments about allocating these. I would say though that the hotel is suited to all types of traveller - groups, families and couples. Overall a good place to go, good value for money and well run.
“Great hotel - 8/10”
We stayed at the Sunprime Coral Suites and Spa from 12-23rd Sept and had a great time. The common parts of the hotel are extremely clean and rooms are also very clean and comfortable. We had an enjoyable stay and would give the hotel an 8/10. The pool area is small and was busy most days so unless you're early you will not get a space (something that seems to be a common theme at pretty much every hotel unfortunately). However, there is the sundeck which was pretty much deserted!!!! You can chill, get a tan and enjoy the peace and quiet. Perfect!!! The hotels location is great and didn’t get a taxi once when we were out there, we just walked everywhere. The hotel is about 5-10min walk the beach, short walk to everything you’ll need - the supermarket, bars, clubs, pubs and restaurants but is far enough away from the main night life so it’s not noisy if you want an early night. Hotel is approx 15-20 mins walk from Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje. The only things we can fault are: 1) The breakfast: was not very nice although there was a good variety. The sausages were more like frankfurters; the bacon didn't taste like bacon and most if the breakfast buffet was cold. 2) The Shower: the water temperature didn't stay constant and at times was freezing or scalding and 3) No a/c in the rooms: some nights were uncomfortably hot not even leaving the balcony door open helped. However despite these things we would DEFINITELY stay at the hotel again and would recommend it.
“Would probably stay elewhere should we return...”
Overall a vey good hotel. Beds could have been more comfortable, and the fridge had to be wedged shut with my shoe! Only had one cockroach, and that is because we left the window open at night with the light on inside. We had a problem with our toilet and our tv (the pay english channels) and they were fixed witin the half hour. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the nightly entertaiment was really impressive, wih snake eagel and parrot shows as well as comedians and singers. The location was 10 minutes walk from the beach, which is why we would stay elsewhere - preferably right on the seafront! Restaurants are everywhere and every food you could want is there. El Arrozal was italian and did the worlds best pizza! Tony Romas was american and did the worlds best ribs! Shopping is very good, and there is plenty of excursions bookable at reception for children and adults alike.
“Will be going back in Febuary”
My Partner and I visited this hotel on the June11th 2011 and was very impressed with the choice we made as some of the reviews we had read only rated it as a 3 Star. I would state that it is very basic, but clean and tidy with a nice variation of breakfast. It was close to Playa De Las Americas within a 5 minutes walking distance and close to a selection of nice restaurants. I would recommend the Oriental Garden-Chinese Restaurant (opposite the Mare Nostrum Hotel). It was an adult resort which made a nice change from having screaming children running around. The only downfall that i would mention was that other guests often slammed the doors, early in the morning when you where trying to have a lie-in.
“Excellent Hotle”
This is the second time I have stayed at the Coral Beach. Once again I was greeted by cheerful reception staff. There was a slight problem with my reservation but it was quickly sorted out by the professional staff on reception. I would definately recommend this hotel. I will be visiting again in October this year
