Old-Dated Property.Posted 13/08/2013 on Hotels.com
This property is rather dated and not worth its USD$160 rate. Rooms are classed as 'suites' but did not even come with comforter blankets and they provided 1 pillow per guest. You have to pay for addtional pillows. The resort was well occupied during a long weekend and even then they could not provide a better breakfast. A grand total of 5 dishes+egg station made up the breakfast buffet line. Consolation would be their big pool, even then the water wasdirty with dead flies, leaves etc. I been to many resorts and all this would have been acceptable for a USD90 per night hotel. I stayed at cheaper resorts in Asia with better facilities/amenities. Would be suitable for students or big groups of young people.

Hotel employees are very courteous especially the waiters. it needs to improve the signage as it is not very visible on the road. Avoid booking in a room near the pool and restaurant because of the noise. Generally however our stay was pleasant and comfortable. i would reconmmend it to my friends who are looking for a weekend get away.

Unfriendly staff.Posted 03/06/2013
Pros: The breakfast is ok.
Cons: The staff, the rules, the bothrooms are dirty and moldy.
The hotel staff are terrible. Service is terrible. I gave this place two chances, and will never go back. The first visit, they did not give us towels. I asked the reception for towels, and they said we recieved them. They took our other towels and we had none and they refused to give is more. Finally, I went to the reception and a guy there gave us a beach towel. The second stay, we sat at security gate for 15 mins in a taxi, because security didn't have our name and would not let us on the property. Then, my girlfriends family came to visit, and they would not let them in. They asked for a 700php entry fee for eachof them. Finally, after they sat at the gate for 30 minutes, They reluctantly let them visit for an hour.

You need to know this before bookingPosted 29/05/2013
Pros: The breakfast is ok.
Cons: Its too expensive... The staff is unfriendly, service in terrible The rooms are dirty, shower has black mold everywhere Guests are not welcome
Ok...I gave This hotel two chances, and was thoroughly disappointed both times. My first stay there, We were not given towels when they cleaned our room the second day. No big deal, I called reception, and they said they would call housekeeping.....I waited and waited..after an hour, I called back and the reception informed me that housekeeping gave us towels and we were not getting more. I was shocked. Not only did they accuse me of lying, they refused to give us towels...and took our old ones! I went down to reception and got the manager...he handed me two beach towels from a pile. The unfriendly attitude of the hotel staff continued..through the week. My seconds stay there, yesterday...was just as bad. First..The guard did not have my name at the security gate even thought I booked and reserved ahead. How hard could it be for the guard to have a list of guests that are going to check in? We waited 10 minuted while he chatted with the reception, finally letting us in. We checked in, the mini suite. Two of us. And Jovy spoke with her mom who lives in Talisay. Her mom cam down with her nieces to visit. The guard would not let them in and said we had to pay 700php per visitor. Shocking. I was able to convince the manager to let them come in, and he said...2 hours maximum visit. Ive never heard of such a rule at a hotel? Then, I got a call from the mgr, that they were seen with food and drinks, and it was not allowed in the room. The room had a kitchen! With a stove! Fridge!

very bad customer service, 3 1/2 hours to check inPosted 02/05/2013 on Hotels.com
as we booked our hotel via internet and does not have an access at that time to a printer we did not have a print out of the booking itself but has an sms copy of the booking confirmation number. it took them 3 1/2 hrs (actually not until i have shown them through my e mail, mind they did not let me use the "faster internet accessed" computer until 3 hours after), to have this sorted, no follow up, no asking if we are ok, and i have two kids and pregnant as well. they did in fairness let us go to our room, but obviously we did not want to do anything until we are officially "checked in", so we arrived at 4 pm and has been officially checked in at 7:30 pm. we then went to the dining area, and lo and behold another 45 minutes for our meal to be served. again in fairness, the price is quite affordable therefore we thought it is going to be small portions, so we ordered 4 dishes, OMG when it all arrived it barely can fit the table, the server/waitress should have warned us that portions are big, and that 2 small children can share, and as i've said we were just exhausted, we barely have any appetite, and to be served with this massive portions of food, appetite's completely gone then, and the epic waiting isnt over yet, had to wait for someone to get our billing, all in all that night, my kids were able to swim, in exactly 25 minutes!!! as we arrived in the pool area, the lifeguard told us, "oh by the way, you only got 25 minutes to swim".

Poor service, great viewsPosted 02/05/2013
The check in staff were completely unhelpful, wouldn't even give me change for the tricycle, even asked in the restaurant. Staff in the restaurant totally uninterested, had to ask a waiter 3 times for the bill, in the end went and paid at the desk. Food selection poor and expensive. Marianne on reception made it a little better with her help on check out. Views great, rooms good, trying to push trips (bad). Service dire, would not return.

Hotel fine, staff very friendlyPosted 03/01/2012
Pros: The pools. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: Food choice, both restaurants have the same menu.
Location: Lovely views of Lake Taal and the volcano.
The staff at this hotel were excellent and very friendly. The accommodation wasnt quite what I expected (not like the picture in the description) so slightly disappointed with it. Food was fine but not a lot of choice, we ate out a couple of times. The hotel has three pools which were very nice. Views of the lake and volocano are fantastic!
