“They'll charge you coming and going...”
The room was nice and clean and for a good price. We were even allowed to check in early, and the restaurant in the hotel was quite good, if slightly expensive. Make sure to ask before using anything, though, as they will charge you for everything. I made a local call and was surprised to find that they charge *a lot* for local calls and the phone system blocked my phone card, so you'll have to find a pay phone to avoid the charges. They also charge 8 Euro for internet, but at least you know before you log on. Their book promises complimentary breakfast of coffee or tea and fresh fruit or pastries, but only the drinks are actually provided without charge, though a pricey breakfast buffet is available at the restaurant. I'd recommend their dinner, but avoid their breakfast. I'm sure it tastes good, but not worth the cost..
“Some Tips”
The hotel is a good value for the price, but make sure to print out directions for finding it - it's in a fairly quiet neighborhood but it's somewhat confusing to find it. Watch for the street markers helping point the way. There is an enclosed parking area which only costs 5 euros a night - or you can park on the street for free. The peace of mind was worth the extra cost for me. Breakfast is a nice buffet, but is expensive. A good alternative is to leave the hotel and turn left. Walk a couple of minutes to the T-intersection and turn left. Across the street is a large, modern supermarket which contains a great cafe serving good food and coffee for considerably less than the hotel - but check out the buffet and make your own choice. A little farther up this same street, on the left as you continue walking, is a very nice Chinese restaurant with a great buffet and you can build a plate of what you want cooked, as well as the sauce you want, and they will cook it for you - excellent food and locally bewed beer. I would definitely stay there again.
“Nice airport hotel...”
It's a little out of the way, but fairly accessible with a car. You can park on the street, but they have covered parking for 5 euros a night. The breakfast is extra and fairly expensive, but you can walk a block or so to a nice bakery for some coffee and a roll or a large pretzel. I'll stay there again when flying from Stuttgart.
“Nice place close to the Porsche Museum”
Probably would not stay here if not visiting the Porsche Museum since there is nothing else around. Rooms were clean and comfortable. but no A/C. Food was good but expensive, but there isn't any other place to eat in the area.
“would stay there again”
it was very quiet clean and the poeple were very nice and helpfull
