“Clean and Reasonalbly Priced”

Close to Stuttgart airport - about a 10-minute taxi ride away. Not a lot of amenities, but it feels safe and secure.

“Great hotel”

Golden Leaf Stuttgart Airport & Messe was clean, and the staff extremely courteous and friendly. It is a typical European-style hotel with rooms that are traditionally smaller that what most Americans are used to having, but that did not detract from the overall experience. The lobby restaurant is small but the staff is quick and courteous and the food is excellent. My one complaint was that the HVAC system was non-intuitive and I couldn't figure out how to cool my room; while this wasn't an issue in the evening as the cool spring air through the window was sufficient, it did make the room slightly uncomfortable during the daylight hours. It is my fault for not asking the hotel staff directly for assistance, to be sure, but it would be nice if there was a schematic or set of instructions available for people attempting to adjust the temperature settings on their own. Otherwise, I had a great experience!

Area recommendations

I was in Stuttgart for less than 24 hours and am not familiar with the City, so I cannot make a recommendation about any specific neighborhoods.

“Nothing fancy, but perfect for just one day.”

Just an average hotel with kinda small rooms, but nothing to complain really. If you're staying there for just 1 night it's perfect. Close to airport and freeway.

“An inexpensive business stay near STR”

The Golden Leaf is a very clean, low-cost European business hotel, and my stay there was pleasant. Until the train link is finished, it will be accessible only by taxi, bus or walking (30 minutes from the Echterdingen station).

“Stuttgart Hotel close to airport”

Hotel was good, close to airport (15 euro). Room is small but it is common for Europe. Close to convention center. I would stay there again. Don't plan on walking anyplace

Taxis are expensive- going from hotel downtown is $50 each way.

“I will be going back and I will stay there again”

The hotel was great, clean, great room. The dining area was also very good, and the food reasonable. They were very helpful and explained everything - between my rusty German and their ability to speak some English it worked just fine! the room was a great layout for a business trip! To travel anywhere one needed a taxi or knowledge of bus/train schedules, which I didn't have. It wasn't a problem since I was using taxis everywhere. It was conveniently located between the airport and the city of Stuttgart. I will stay there again in July.

Area recommendations

Downtown Stuttgart is great, very beautiful. It is mostly in a valley, and many of the buildings are old and stately. The train and bus stops are easily located, and one cold take the train to Stuttgare quite easily. Downtown there were several pedestiran shopping areas.

“A welcoming place”

Friendly, English-speaking hotel with fabulous breakfast. Room was bright & airy with major news programs on cable TV. A good experience.....considering my luggage was lost and I arrived late at night in a freezing rain.

“Thanks God vor having a navigator in my car!”

Somewhat difficult to find. Nice clean hotel, friendly service. Rooms are somewhat small, but that is European. Great shower. Loved my stay, will use it again. Thanks Expedia for such a great price!

“It's okay for a nights stay, nothing special”

Service good, limited english spoken but enough to be understood, parking on street. Hard to find the place due to street closures. Room small no AC but you could open the window so it worked out good.
