"The room was very clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable. We loved how they leaned into the age and style of the hotel with vintage “looking” appliances. Had plenty of towels and toiletries. The property is full of charm with a nice pool and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs around it. It looked great in the evening with the rope lights on over the pool. You can’t beat the giant live oaks that are all over the property as well. If you don’t care about staying right on the beach, but want to check out the shops, restaurants, and the pier, you can’t beat it. The price was great as well compared to other places I looked at around the island. Will definitely stay there again."

Village Inn and Pub - Adults Only

"Overall we had a good stay. Some not so great things were check in. Don't plan to check in early because you can't. Got there at 1:30 and we were told to come back at 3. I also paid for a deluxe king room and it had no chair or place to sit other than the bed. There was a small desk are but the room did not look like what was advertised as a deluxe room. We were there for one night so I didn't complain but had we stayed longer I would have. If you enjoy a dark room to sleep that is another issue. The mini fridge it has a clear door and is lit. This light stays on all day and night. One other concern is I think they are about to or already have a termite issue as one crawled on the bed( very easy to see on the white bedding). The positives are location and quietness. You can walk to several bars, restaurants and shopping."

"Our room was clean and beautifully decorated in modern motif - beds were great! The pool area is really pretty with comfortable seating to chill in a big patio area! We enjoyed the breakfast, big variety of food! Loved our stay!"

"The property will be lovely when renovations are completed. Right now it’s a little less than desirable however, they did notify after I booked that there was construction… I just didn’t see my message until after I stayed there and that is on me. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean that is really the most important…"

"This is an outstanding hotel in a great location. The hotel is looks like new and the lobby is very spacious and attractive and the staff was especially helful and welcoming. Great fitness center! The room was among the best I've stayed in recently and I've recently traveled and stayed in San Francisco, Big Sky Montana, Jacksonville, Florida and 3 hotels in Switzerland. The kitchenette was the best! The desk area was large as well as the sitting area with couch. I'll be back!"

"Photos seem like they were taken a decade ago. Decent property, but it’s showing its age and wear. AC in room didn’t work, was essentially a fan, main room worked extra hard to keep place cool. Random light switches that took a while to sort out. Great location, property still has promise, just needs some care. Parking was the fantastic. Covered lot with easy access for guests. A minute walk to the beachfront."
