"this place is amazing and has everything you need. The only thing they do not have is onsite laundry service. You have access to Opal Sands, and Opal Sol amenities and pools. The restaurants are great and the room service as well. Each floor is provided with a pantry of cookies and snacks and bottled water in a cooler. This saved us from having to order these things to our room like we have done before at other places. The resort is right on the beach, just walk down the steps. We walked about 15k steps a day going from there to the downtown area and it gets hot so having water is important. There is a trolley in the area that runs if walking is not desired.
The room walls were very thin as we could hear people in and out and in the hallways all night long. the bathroom doors are a barn style and is very loud opening and closing and we could hear all of the rooms around us when they used their bathroom door. We slept with a sound machine on and it was not a big deal to us, but it might be for others."
