“Ideal for couples”

Lovely B & B in the centre of the town. Comfortable bed. Brilliant shutters that keep the heat out during the day and noise out at night. Air conditioning kept it cool for afternoon nap. Large bathroom with shower over bath. 70 stairs to get up to the room so take your flat shoes. Hoist for luggage that owners will use when you arrive. Train and buses only a short 10 minute walk even if you are carrying bags. Lots of restaurants locally. Voucher system for basic breakfast in two locals cafes.(you can pay extra if you want something more substantial). We had a lovely week in this B & B and would recommend it. Make sure you find the farm shop in the centre by the horse carriages (trip to the farm for dinner wonderful)

“Inconvenient”

Palazzo Starace is a B&B on the 5th floor of a no-elevator building. Luggage has to be hoisted from the building entrance via a hoist. There is no lobby and the entrance door is locked - entry has to be arranged by the owner and maid by a buzzer to their 6th floor apartment. Access by car is very inconvenient and the building is hard to find. The B&B is usually not manned. Very inconvenient. Other than that the staff was nice and the room was clean. Breakfast is a voucher to a cafe two hundred yards away.
