Sorry to hear you found issues with your room. We would have gladly offered you a different room if the issues had been brought to our attention. Staff are available 24/7 if you have any questions or concerns.
Attempted to charge extra $20 for a minimally early checkin. Very meager breakfast offerings. No toiletries or towels available on holiday.

We spoke with the guest the day before and informed them of the holiday closure and gave them extra toiletries and towels. If there was any issues during the holiday, staff was accessible to help them. They didn't ask for any help. And yes, if a guest wants to rent extra time in the room, it costs something.
This guest stayed with us for multiple nights and did not bring any issues to our attention. We have staff available 24/7 who want to make sure our guests have a pleasant stay. If there was an issue, we would have done all we could to fix it right away.

We would never expect a guest to sleep on a soiled or smelly bed, and it's a shame that we only heard about this issue long after your stay. Please know that we have staff available 24/7 and we would have gladly moved you to one of the other open rooms if you had only let us know there was an issue.Although no guest who has stayed in the room after you has shared your concern, we will certainly take a close look to ensure the mattress is in good condition.
The bed was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood, the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a weeks worth guests, I honestly would’ve rather slept in my truck!

Mark,We keep track of guest feedback on each mattress, and you are the first guest to offer any negative feedback on that mattress. As you were told at check in, hotel staff was available 24/7 if you had any issues or concerns. We had several other rooms open we would have been glad to place you in -even upgrading your res at no cost. It's strange that you made no effort to reach out to us during your stay or at check out.

I use the Soldotna Inn because it is centrally located for my dog related trials in the Kenai. They do charge an extra $25 per night for pets which I find irksome as my dogs are well behaved and quieter than others that are staying there. They are pet friendly though. Great places to walk leashed dogs. It’s an older hotel but the rooms are clean. Easy Peasy to stay there.

Wall were paper thin and you could hear other guests all the time. Had to keep a window open to keep it from getting way to hot which then resulted in hearing all the traffic and the groups of smokers talking outside. Dirty floors and shower. Uncomfortable bed.

Unusual for Alaska during August, even with fans, room was hot. Comfortable beds. Would stay again.
I am sorry, we checked the room and there is no mold. it is not the first time you complained the problem not existed and you are on our DNR list before and will be on our DNR again. Sorry about this.
Our initial encounter was absolutely terrible- RUDE RUDE lady at front desk, was not able to check in because she was too busy talking on her personal phone. We left found a place to eat, came back service was better but the insult was already felt.
Great. Bed was soft and low. I had to be upstairs. Not liking stairs

Thanks for the review, Barbara. If you need a downstairs room next time, choose one of our 1 Queen rooms and then call to make sure it's on the ground floor -we have a couple 1Q rooms upstairs. Hopefully that will make your next stay much more comfortable!
Hotel was dirty and room was extremely hot. No AC.
They had the heater up to 80 when we walked in, with no AC we could not get the hotel to cool down. Extremely uncomfortable all night. The room was also dirty and gross. Towels had holes and were discolored.
Would not stay here again.

Sorry to hear this, though something seems off about this review. We have had the heat for the whole building turned off all summer and it has been cold and rainy this year. We have gotten a couple complaints about the rooms being too cool this summer, and no complaints about heat. We also have staff easily available 24/7, so if your room was not properly cleaned or there was an issue with heat, a staff member could have fixed the issue or placed you in a different room. We would never expect you to stay in an uncomfortable or uncleaned room.
