The minimum age for any spa treatments at Spa Botanica is 18 years old. Teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17, may receive spa treatments if accompanied by a parent in the same treatment room.
Guests with high blood-pressure, heart conditions, allergies, or who are pregnant or have any other medical complicates should consult with their doctor before signing up for any spa treatments. Please inform spa therapists of any medical conditions prior to treatment.
Spa cancellation policy: A minimum of 24-hours is required for cancellation or rescheduling of any spa appointments. Cancellations made with less than 6-hours notice will result in a 50-percent cancellation fee. Full charges will be applied for a "no-show" without advance notice.

“Sentosa's favourite”

The hotel is well priced and provides regular free shuttle transport to Sentosa Resort World, Paragon and VivoCity Mall, the nearest MRT station. Excellent service, food, amenities and highly recommended hotel to stay close enough to the attractions of Sentosa, but away from the crowds.

“Very nice place!”

My daughter and I were flying to Singapore with Singapore Airlines (SAS) and I originally booked a ‘Singapore Stopover Holiday’ through SAS. But a few days before the trip, I received a phone call from SAS telling me that they had a computer problem and were cancelling my hotel booking! Great! Now with only a couple of days to go, we had no accommodation in Singapore! SAS were of no help and ignored most of my phone-calls and emails. At the airport check-in I mentioned these problems and they confirmed the problems but totally ignored my hint that an upgrade would be nice in compensation. So 2 out of 10 to SAS, although I must admit that once on the plane, the cabin crew were very good and it was an enjoyable flight. Anyway, only a day or so before the flight I managed to book through Expedia a room at the Sentosa Resort and Spa. This was not my preferred option as it’s quite some distance from the main shopping and cultural centres of Singapore. However, the Sentosa Report and Spa was really very nice – close to the beach, nice surroundings, great facilities and we ended up spending most of our time on Sentosa, only going once into Chinatown to go shopping. If you are on a budget, then booking through Expedia will save you a LOT of money - the price we paid (through Expedia) was about one-half the price that you'd pay if you booked directly through the hotel's webpage.

Area recommendations

If you want just a nice relaxing holiday, you can just stay on Sentosa Island. If you want to go shopping and/or see the sights of Singapore (and there are many), then it's not too difficult or expensive to get to other areas by taxi or public transport.

Dining

The food and service at the hotel’s various restaurants is very good, but quite expensive. If you want something cheap and good, there is a food court and other restaurants only 10 – 15 minutes walk away.

“Great for relaxing”

We loved our 4 night stay here. We had previously stayed in Singapore itself and that was good too but Sentosa Resort and Spa is a great contrast to the city. The service was very good. Food is more expensive that can be obtained in the nearby shopping centre, but there is a free and frequent bus service there so you don't need to eat at the Resort. Swimming pool is huge and not overcrowded. The only criticism I have is that the discount for spa treatments is not very useful since you have to book a apa treatment within 24 hours to qualify for 20% discount. This was not xplained and I didn't read the fine print until too late. Again local shopping centre has massage etc available at half the price. Overall though a great place to relax.

Area recommendations

Sentosa Island if you want to relax. Otherwise central Singapore is full of things to do.

Great hotel, great food, good service, close to everything on Sentosa, have regular FREE shuttle buses for traveling to Orchard Rd for shopping or to Vivo City. and then there is the FREE beach trams and buses. ALL good, would definitely return here again.

“Tropical resort indeed!”

Locating and arriving at the hotel was difficult from the airport. The taxi driver was from mainland and not familiar with Sentosa Island hotels. However, once we stepped out of the taxi, it was total relaxation and the most 'resort-like' atmosphere possible. Friendly, caring, attentive staff. Beautiful facilities. Clean and well-maintained room for creature comforts. Late night dining and beautiful locations to relax and catch-up with friends without getting 'kicked out' of the restaurant, open pool area. Right behind the hotel is access to 2 beautiful beaches, just a short walk away! Active and leisure, pamper and relaxation, everything was catered for at The Sentosa Resort and Spa.

Getting there

The only down-side of staying in Sentosa resorts and spa was the inexperience of taxi drivers from the main island in Singapore to navigate to the hotel, ie from the airport and city, the trips back to the hotel via taxi was always much longer and more expensive due to taxi driver getting lost. Tip: when travelling by taxi, be sure to call use the island's taxi company.

“The Sentosa - an oasis on Singapore's doorstep”

Had a fantastic time at The Sentosa Resort and Spa. Lovely room, amazing pool, fantastic breakfast, great lunch. Staff very very friendly and professional. Bus to Vivocity was not ideal but still pretty convenient. And lots to do at Vivocity (plus the MTR) so no issues there. Overall a fantastic experience. Well worth the cost. A real oasis of class on the doorstep of Singapore CBD.

“only place to stay in singapore”

When I come to singapore this is the only place I stay. The staff are courteous and friendly. Their on site spa area is to die for, the food in the restaurant at the spa is unreal, eating healthy never tasted so good! The breakfast is the best I have had at any resort. The only negative is staying in the west wing rooms low to the ground, the resident peacocks seem to hang around this area and make their loud sound which is very nice if your not staying in the rooms they like to sit close to.

“Great place to unwind”

We enjoyed our stay. For something special, night out at the Cliff restaurant is a must. My only recommendation is to get breakfast added your package. We thought it was expensive at the resort and it was hard to find something else.
