“Value in a good location”
For me this hotel provided perfect location for a nearby business meeting at a relatively reasonable cost. The staff at all levels were friendly and helpful. The bird songs in the lobby are soothing.
“Excellent hotel and will go back.”
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Marina Mandarin and will definitely stay there again. I only have 2 complaints - firstly being hit for $200 on arrival in case I should use the minibar. This is the most I have been charged anywhere I have travelled in the world, and I have not been charged any amount at all up front in a significant number of hotels. This is especially not a good introduction to the hotel when you are arriving late at night from a long flight. Secondly - as another guest said to me as well - you can wait ages for a lift to arrive to take you down to breakfast on the 4th floor or up to your room etc etc.
“very good hotel”
every thing about this hotel was good breakfast buffet excellent but a bit pricey
“Perfect location, convenient for families”
We had nice stay at Marina Madarin though the cleanness of the hotel could be improved also breakfast arrangement could be more efficient. We will stay there again for the money value also the perfect location at Marina Bay! We got view of Marina Bay sands view also merlion park is under our roof!
“Convinient location+Up to standard”
All are well done!
“Return Visit”
This was my third visit to this Hotel, last being in 2008. Choice of Hotel was made due to excellent experiences on the previous visits, the rate - in comparison to others in the area, and the location. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room, although clean, was in desperate need of an update, grouting in the bathroom and carpet have seen better days. Pool area is excellent to relax and take a dip-not crowded at any time we were there. We did not eat at the Hotel at all but Happy Hour drinks on arrival were enjoyable to get the feel of the Hotel. Free internet daily was a bonus.
“"great location"”
Very friendly and helpful staff and the location of the hotel was exellent in the Marina district with direct access to the marina shopping complex. We found the drinks and food extremely expensive in the hotel and although they provided a lovely atomosphere with music and a singer the prices meant that we limited our time at the bar area.
“Good Value”
Stayed at the hotel as a 'stop-over' on way home from Europe. Impressed by the professional, friendly staff who were always keen to assist. Appreciated that we were allowed early access to room after overnight flght from Paris & the ability to extend check-out till 6 pm at a modest cost.. Not the newest hotel in Singapore, but facilities still hold up very well - comfortable, good sized rooms & all required facilities at a reasonable price. The breakfast (and food/drink generally) was considered to be expensive and we ate at surrounding restaurants or one of the several adjoining mega malls A comfortable, well priced hotel with excellent staff..
“Impressive hotel but expensive wifi”
We enjoyed our two nights in the Marina Mandarin. The spectacular atrium is a sight to behold. Spacious room with probably the best bathroom of any hotel we had previously stayed in. A couple of minor quibbles on arrival - door to balcony could not be secured and tv didn't work. However both these were immediately dealt with and resolved after a phone call to service desk. Wifi expensive in room, S$30/day or S$10 for 1 hour. However can be obtained at no charge in lounge/bar area with purchase of, albeit expensive, drink or bar snack. Also didn't like the caged birds spread around atrium on about the 4th level during each day. May have provided some local flavor but seemed cruel to us for birds to be caged in this manner. Very conveniently located next to major shopping centre where you can eat at significantly lower cost than at hotel if you wish
“Will Return”
Friendly staff, quick check in and out, well serviced, close to shopping centre, close to two train stations. Meals expensive but you can eat nearby. Clean pool area with good service.
