“would definately book there again when in Singapore”
THe hotel is in a great location , close to MRT (public Transport.) Good size rooms , nothing fancy but clean and very comfortable.
“COVE TROOPER”
Very welcoming staff, slow front desk check in, rooms are large, roomy and good size bathroom, good value for cost, late check out, beautiful swimming pool area would book again.
“Reasonable priced hotel for Singapore”
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Worst coffee served in dining room and range of selection for dining was very limited for Western guests. Only disappointment was the condition of the bathroom, very much in need of attention. However, a large room with a good outlook.
“Singapore Recommended Hotel”
We booked through Expedia and the only disappointment was getting 2 sinle beds instead of the King/Queen double as ordered. Wife and I slept in one of the big single beds and enjoyed the stay. Hotel and facilities were excellent. Convenient to transport and easy eating in or out. We had breakfast daily at the Landmark and that was excellent quality for $15.00 Singapore . Eat as much as you want. Will stay here again on our next visit.
“good hotel”
good location and close to many thing you need...
“Go some where else”
It was easy to check in. Disappointment started when I got to the room. The place was worn out, needs all the basics. The room needs a good cleaning. A close look at the wall lighting fixture bed lamp was terrible, completely cover in thick thick dust, disgusting. My wife hated to see mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The bedding was cheap. The towels were clean. For a hotel in this price bracket, I suggest you make the effort to another hotel, I will not return here.
“OK Hotel”
Bathroom was obviously old but clean. Free internet eased the pain, Bed was confortable.
“FAIR”
This hotel was pretty fair in an convenient location with shops and restaurants near by as well as an shopping mall and local transit. Plenty of english channels.
“Near subway station is the best part!”
the room was dirty, stains on the glass table, toilet was not clean, the room smell, faucet does not work well, basically the hotel need major update. Quiet surrounding and closed to subaway station was the only few good things
“Close to Bugis Underground Station”
The hotel is a moderately priced hotel that is one block from the Bugis underground train station. The room was large by Singapore standards and was similar to U.S. hotel rooms. It was clean and a good value as hotels go in Singapore. Do not buy stamps or change currency at the front desk as rates are very poor. There is a flea market type shopping center two blocks away on Victoria Street (one block beyond the Bugis Station), if you want inexpensive clothes, Singapore souvenirs, etc. The underground station being one block away makes getting around Singapore easy and it also the line that goes to the airport. Buying a pass on the underground increases the value and convenience of the hotel by allowing train or bus transportation to all areas of the city. We were happy with the hotel in general but the food and other services should be purchased elsewhere. There is a 7-11 across the street for soda and sundry needs. We would stay there again if we ever travel to Singapore.
