“Excellent Hotel, Awesome Location!”

This hotel was much nicer that what I was expecting, given the price I paid. The hotel staff were extremely professional and courtious. My room was in the new building and was very spacious. They bathroom was much bigger than most and had seperate bathtub and shower. The location is AWESOME! It is in very short walking distances to two metro stations. One of the metro station's is in a very large indoor mall, which is literally across the small city street from the hotel. There were two very minor things that I did notice: there is no hot tub at the pool and both the check-in and check-out process was lengthier than normal.

“Carlton was a good choice”

Been to Singapore before, but first time in Carlton - great location, close to convention centres, and the Raffles shops if you want, and close to the subway. Also taxis are cheap in Singapore so it doesn't cost much to get to some of the other districts.

Excellent hotel, great staff and the location near chijmes is perfect. Also, not to forget Raffles just over the road!!

“Brilliant hotel and location”

We absolutely loved this hotel - we travelled to Singapore in the peak of Christmas week and although very busy, it was clean, the staff were hospitable and the hotel was decorated beautifully. The location was perfect too - a straight 10 minute walk down one road to Orchard Road, also 10 minutes from the Singapore Flyer and right next to Raffles. We couldn't have picked better! One tip - the breakfast is extortionately priced. My husband and I went next door to a little cafe called Empire Cafe which is connected to The Raffles Hotel - it was really reasonably priced and got a good breakfast for your money and the staff were lovely and informative about what to do in Singapore.

“Pleasant Surprise in a great location will return”

A pleasant surprise, superb new wing, decent gym. Breakfast expensive unless you have a healthy appetite - but a lobby cafe caters for those of us who don't and was exceptionally good. Great location across from Raffles Hotel, stylish, clean and friendly.
