“I will return”

Friendly staff Hotel clean and nice size room Pleasant atmosphere Walking distance to most everything but a little far from the beach about 1 mile WiFi only available in restaurant and in business center Quiet place to relax--pool right outside of our room Enjoyed my stay here and would recommend I'll come back to this hotel

Area recommendations

This hotel was just on the outskirts of Kuda. We heard Kuta was a very rowdy place with lots of nightlife. That was not our experience. Some nightlife and lots of young people. Town doing some construction so sidewalks were torn up for improvements.

“The best loaction to see Little India”

The best location to walk around Little India. About 3 min. walk you can get Tekka center. To Arab street, it takes about 20 min. walk, but it is possible. I think this hotel is one of the best choice to feel exoticism in Singapore. But now (2011), Rochor Canal Rd. is under construction. You have to see many road works.

“Executive rooms very comfortable”

Hotel situated in Albert Court Village was clean and comfortable. Staff were efficient and courteous. The Executive rooms are in a separate quarter. Very quiet with indoor plants and a soothing water feature in an internal courtyard. We will definitely go back.

Anywhere near little India, China Town etc. Stay within walking distance of hawker centres for fresh, delicious, cheap meals.

“A nice hotel that is priced well (for Singapore)”

Very satisfied. A nice hotel in a very convenient part of Singapore. Plenty of places to eat, etc. Room is kind of small but if you are only sleeping there, etc. it is not much of a problem. Some noisy construction and the road construction makes getting into and out of the hotel a pain at times. Also if you need a taxi it is best to pay the two dollar (SGD) booking fair and have the hotel call one for you.

“Good, comfortable hotel in interesting area”

Quite a lovely hotel right near the interesting Little India district and a very short walk to Little India underground train station, providing an easy trip anywhere around the city. Rooms were very comfortable, although not glamorous. Public areas throughout the hotel are quite beautiful, with marble floors, large sitting areas, bar and restaurant. The hotel is set within a courtyard of small eateries which is convenient when too tired to venture far for dinner. Main complaint was a couple of uninformed staff members about how to get places, including what time the airport shuttle bus starts in the morning. Front desk staff can be slightly brusque, although on the whole, interactions with all of them were pleasant enough. I would recommend this hotel, if you are looking for a less sterile area to stay in than Orchard Road.

I would recommend staying near the Little India section, particularly near the Little India underground rail station, as it is an interesting area, and on the train you can reach anywhere in the city.

“Fine for the quick stopover”

This hotel was fine! Comfortable and clean. We only stopped there for one night en-route to the UK. The service was friendly and professional. I would stay here again if I was going to Singapore. It is within 5 mins walk to the "Little India" precinct in Singapore.
