Great location. The dogs played with the grandkids until all parties were exhausted. The burro and donkey were a hit with the grandkids. Michael and Kathy were excellent hosts and breakfasts were excellent.

A hidden gem in Arizona

This was a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Michael and Catherine were wonderful hosts! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! We would definitely stay again!

The owners are amazing folks, the property is beautiful. We saw a Gila monster and tarantulas the first day! So fun! The dogs are so sweet and we felt like family.

Perfect Ranch Getaway

Had a wonderful time at the ranch. Michael & Kathy are the perfect hosts. The dogs are friendly and adorable and the Donkey & Mule, Maggie & Rita are total Loves. The property is lovely and on the river. Very relaxing! We enjoyed our stay and the Sierra Vista area is beautiful!

Perfect weekend getaway

Michael and Cathy were so amazing and hospitable! They were so warm, welcoming and offered great recommendations to spots in Bisbee and Tombstone. They have great stories too! The property is beautiful and the casita was perfect. Very clean and cozy. Plenty of great wildlife nearby and a nice long hike along the property.

Not as expected

If you enjoy sharing a wall (not mentioned) with condescending invasive people, this place is for you! They made me and my dogs totally uncomfortable...so we left. I understand it takes time and money to prepare for guests, so I thought one night refund out of two would be fair. They did not budge and probably don't care about a bad review since one of the first things they mentioned was having just sold the place and us being one of their last visitors. Lessson learned.

I didn't like the entry road going into the property. Will destroy a new car. Road is okay if you own a truck. The toilet in my suite was badly positioned. Had to sit side-saddle. The coffee was weak and coffee creamer was spoiled. Two days of spoiled creamer. The staff made sarcastic remarks till finally decided to make arrangements somewhere else. Ended my vacation at Best Western Sierra Vista. Would like a refund for the nights that i did not stay at the Lazy Dog Ranch. Willing to pay for the nights that i did stay, but not for the time i didn't.

This is a beautiful BNB with wonderful hosts! If you stay here, you'll be both close to Sierra Vista but remote enough to enjoy the beauty of the high desert. We highly recommend, especially if you're a dog lover!

Great B&B

We had a good stay at the Lazy Dog. My daughter loved the donkey and horses. The dogs on the property are very well behaved. The owner walked us through the property and breakfast each day was wonderful!

Fun ranch out in the desert

I was visiting a friend and Hereford and wasn't crazy about the motels in the immediate area so I chose this B&B to be away from town. I enjoy hotels off the beaten path, so to speak. This ranch was a bit further out than I anticipated, but it was great to get to know the owner and interact with the farm animals! Nice, spacious room.

This little B&B is fantastic! The surrounding area is very beautiful and you have direct access to the San Pedro river. The host is perfect... friendly and very outgoing. We had a great stay with our dog.

Cathy was a wonderful hostess and goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home and part of the Lazy Dog family. The location and views cannot be beaten and it is a very quiet and relaxing location. The property affords great views of the surrounding mountains and backs up to the San Pedro River and offers great hiking. There is much history to explore with its proximity to Tombstone, Bisbee and Fort Huachuca. I'll definitely visit again.
