Hôtel calme et proche du centre

J'ai passé un très bon séjour dans la Pensiunea Fortuna qui est situé dans un quartier résidentiel calme à proximité du centre de Sibiu. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très accueillant, la propreté de la chambre irréprochable et le rapport qualité prix excellent.

Really hard to find but great location once there

Drove and thought about the review I'd read from bicyclists that they hired taxi and followed. Horrible road signs to locate. Check in time is wrong on expedia. It is 8:30 am to 2 pm. Not after 2pm. Which is a bit strange, too. But, they answered bell and buzzed me in. Left key out. 3 others were there, also. Bed soft in center and sink in . Otherwise, clean and nice. Goid price. Great location to walk less than 10 to 15 min to old town area.

Third trip to Sibiu

The hotel is very close to where I need to go for meetings and also short distance to a number of worship places for Sunday. Very easy access. The staff is very friendly.

Hübsche kleine Pension, ruhig aber etwas abgelegen vom Stadtzentrum. Keine Frühstücksmöglichkeit, auch nicht in der näheren Umgebung. Während meines Aufenthaltes fand in der Nähe ein Volksfest statt, sodass die Pension nur durch Ueberschreitung von Verkehrsvorschriften zu erreichen war.

Pensiunea fortuna in Sibiu

Out if all the hotels we stayed in whilst traveling in Romania the service here was definitely the best. The hotel was aware of our booking and showed us straight to our room, they also spoke English which was an added bonus when arranging things. The location was good too close to both the train station and the airport we were catching a flight from and only a 10 min walk from the town. The room was clean and a good size. And there was a useable kitchen downstairs which was good as the hotel did not do food and there was no fridge in the room. Overall a pleasant,plain place to stay.

Service Improvement Needed.

It is unfortunate that our experience with Pensiunea Fortuna started off on a negative note. When we arrived at the locked gate at 18:00 hrs. there was nobody available to let us in. However, there was a phone number posted at the gate but as international travellers we had no working phone. After about 10 minutes of panic, a hotel guest came and let us in. Once inside we found a note and the key for the room on the reception desk. On the positive side, the room and the facilities were clean and well maintained and we felt comfortable in our room. A breakfast was made available in the morning.
