“A pleasant surprise !”

Even though the Hotel is in a prime location, very close to the Cathedral and Plaza Nueva, it is hard to find for somebody like us driving for the first time in Spain. The streets are tiny and turns were difficult with road blocks too! However, can't thank the Hotel front desk people enough! One of them went out, looked for us and lead us to the Hotel. So, after almost an hour going round And round the vicinity, the beautiful interior and Nice room were welcoming! Don't be discourage about trying to find it, it just happened that road blocks and one way signs were put up recently and our GPS didn't lead us to the right way.

Must see the Cathedral! Also don't miss Plaza Nueva and vicinity at night.

“Lovely hotel”

“Worse than camping”

Although the Petit Palace Marques Santa Ana is in a wonderful location, this is all I can say about this hotel. We had a family room which consisted of 2 bunk beds and 1 king bed. The mattresses were harder than rocks, the covers very thin, and the pillows were so flat that even trippling them over did no good. It was worse than camping. The room was very small and sparsely decorated. Because of the very narrow streets, all sound echos from the streets: We heard conversations, shouting, laughter, etc. till 2:00 AM every night even with the windows closed. There is a very lively bar nearby from which this noise came. It was impossible to sleep the two nights we spent here. The towels are thin. There are no washcloths. The breakfast for 15 Euros is not worth it. There are nice places in the area to get a breakfast for much less. The have complementary hot tea and coffee in the evening but the only cups they provide are 6oz thin plastic cups for cold drinks. The internet is free and there is a computer in each room.

“Wonderful Hotel - November 2010, 2 day stay, couple from Houston, TX USA”

Very convinent location. But need to hire a taxi to get to it from either airport or train station. It is hidden in one of the alleys at the city centr. Free internet. Nearby Tapas resturants and cafes. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.

1. Cathedral 2. Alcazar - make sure to spend tme to walk around the Royal Garden. 3. Bullring.

Nightlife

At nights, you should go for some tapas and wine and then go for a flamenco dance show. We saw one from Los Gallos, which is about 2-hour long and definitely worth the ticket price. If you are looking for some amatuer performers, a bar named La Carboneria offers free performance after 11 pm.

“Great Location”

The hotel was okay. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room, but the location for a tourist was great. The air conditioning did not get the room as cool as we would have liked it. My husband thought the bed was too hard, but I did not mind it. Overall, we had a great vacation in Seville.

“Worst hotel in my travel experience.”

Used/dirty water leaked from upstairs bathroom into my bathroom. Called the front desk and the problem was never fixed. Overall, the hotel was not clean.

“Nice experience, nice location”

The hotel location was very central to key spots in Seville. It is a botique hotel with artsy decor and very clean. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this hotel when staying in Seville.

“Family of 5 loves this hotel”

The hotel location only one block from the cathedral made for easy walking to explore the tiny winding streets. The underground parking is a must. We were pleased by the helpful staff and the free juice and espresso during siesta was a surprise treat. The rooms are equipped with complimentary use of a laptop and were smartly appointed and furnished.

Area recommendations

The hotel is basically in the shadow of the cathedral. It's location makes for a superb home base to get to the ancient sites of Seville.
