Great host and terrific breakfast. The location faces Forsyth Park so it’s close enough to downtown but away from the tourism. It’s an old stately house with beautiful rooms. And free off-street parking which is hard to find. Love it.
There was no help with the bags. The a/c was only turned on when we arrived and never cooled until the next morning. The building is in bad disrepair. The TV didn't work or very little was available. Was not given wife info; she simply refused. Didn't stay for breakfast - just wanted to get out. Would not go back.
Staying at the inn was a unique and new experience for us. Our host Colleen was simply amazing. She made us feel at home and made us a delicious breakfast before we were on our way. She also was able to share some great stories with us about the history of her beautiful home. Would definitely love to return.
Needs a little bit of TLC to bring it back to its former grandeur

Disliked: Staff & service
We arrived a little before 3pm and knocked, and banged on the door. Ringing the doorbell did no good either. Do not even consider this if you have any problems with stairs or have a lot of luggage to bring inside. Disaster.
We ended up going elsewhere and are out our payment.
Sorry, can't give this a good review. Very disappointed.
We were taken back in time. The house is so beautiful, our room so comfortable. The breakfast are amazing. The location is wonderful with the park right across the street and the local shuttle bus stops basically right in front of the house. So convenient. As wonderful as the house is, my favorite part of our stay was our hostess. She had the opportunity to join us at breakfast and was so interesting to talk to. We loved our visit to Savannah and our stay at The Confederate house. A true southern charm.
