Overall, I had a good stay at this resort, but it did start off being a little disappointing. I requested a room with a single bed and on the upper floor, but when I arrived, they informed me that it was only one room with a single bed available, but it was on the first floor. I feel if my request wasn’t available prior to me arriving, it should have been communicated to me prior to me arriving at the resort. Also, they told me that all rooms were full, but there were other people checking in throughout the day. The front desk tried to be accommodating by giving me another room, but I didn’t enjoy the view of the room. I didn’t like the fact that a lot of information was not communicated to us initially like the fact that we would have to make reservations to attend one of the restaurants or the fact that we were not informed about the excursion options until later on in our stay (my friends and I wanted to do a boat tour and when we were informed that we could make a reservation, we were told that it was full on the day that we wanted to do it, but if we had come sooner that we would’ve been able to book.)
There were things that I did like about the resort. Throughout the resort, the other staff members in different areas of the resort, always seemed to be accommodating, whether it was in the dining areas, on the beach, or at the bars. The room service was awesome. They ensured that my room was clean each day and made sure that I had enough towels.
