This hotel is amazing value. It's got views of the sea from the terrace, the breakfast is really good - scrambled eggs with bacon, sausages, cold cuts, 3 different types of bread for toast, fresh tomato, plenty of pastries, espresso as well as americano coffee. The room was cozy, nicely decorated, and the bed comfy. Couldn't have been happier.
Quirky, unusual and a total one off
Lovely breakfast, great location and nice, friendly staff

We found the hotel very nice but in needing quite a number of repairs. We had a cracked sink broken blinds in the bathroom. Bathroom not very clean. curtain rail in bedroom hanging off the wall. Dinning area very characterful but exsesive mould and damp on the walls and ceiling and very cold. Breakfast was poor and some of the pre packed products where out of date. We had to keep asking for the heating to be put on in the room. The staff where lovely and only to willing to help. We loved the character if the hotel it just needs some TLC.
Perfectly located to enjoy the beach area of Sardinero & approximately a 35min walk/10 minute cab ride to the old centre of Santander.Very clean & comfortable large family run guest house.Rooms 104 & 103 were tidy & beds were comfortable if a little noisy being on the ground floor.Bathroom was very clean with a powerful rain shower.Room had an Iron & teas made.Breakfast was continental and we were warmly welcomed by the friendly & interesting owner Jesus.English is spoken & I would highly recommend this property for a beachside stay.

Small rooms, poor breakfast. During the night it was noisy internal and external noises. They must fix this.
Overall things were cozy and comfortable. The only issue was our room was on the main floor right next to the reception so it was a little noisy in the morning and shower door wouldn't open completely so it was a bit of a squeeze for us to get in. But other than that it was a great stay and experience
The room was quaint, but it was very small. It was very hard to stand in the bathroom and close the door to the bathroom. Also, the faucet on the sink was basically just dangling there. It was a fine room and I wasn't uncomfortable, but I probably would not stay there again.
This is a very nice little hotel, literally a stone’s throw to the beach (Sardineros, but also very close to Camellos and Magdalena). I was in room 103, so main building and my experience was more like a bed and breakfast as there’s quite a lot of people traffic (footfall) noise from the corridors. But I am not a light sleeper, so it didn’t bug me.
The breakfast was nice - I like it that you can buy a coffee and/or a coffee and a snack and pay a fair price. Very nice touch to have beach towels available.
My bedroom was small, but for 1 person it’s ok. It’s a double bed so I don’t know if they would put a couple in. Bathroom also quite small but great water pressure.
The only quibble I had was staff didn’t speak a lot of English - fine for me as I get by, but I can see this could be problematic. Also they weren’t very knowledgeable of things like bus schedules (I don’t mean specifics, but one of the reception ladies told me no bus running to the station on Saturday at 7am (which wasn’t true). Little things like those matter. But overall it was a very nice place.
This hotel is underrated..very near the beach..walking distance to restaurants.grocers, they have added a gorgeous new breakfast room in the basement area that is not to be missed.all rooms have their own personality and charm. All tastfully decorated..if you have stayed before..you May want to put in a request for your 'special ' room.
