“Good Hotel”
Very good hotel for the budget. We had an adjoining room which was very convenient and gave plenty of room. The accomodation is basic but comfortable enough and clean. The pool and bar area was good and the area itself is nice. The genetleman on reception was particularly helpful and friendly when we checked in. We would go back here.
“great value for money”
Booked this hotel for a long 4 day weekend - great experience. My fight was delayed and I got to the hotel at 4am: there was a night porter waiting for me. The hotel has a pool (mostly used by kids and all inclusive clients) and the beach and shops are 5mns walk. The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming (although most will speak German to you first!). the room had a kitchenette and balcony and was fairly quiet (for Ibiza!) Would definitely recommend!
“Family hotel”
Noisy family hotel. Too many people in the swiming pool. The food is tasteless, which is very strange for Spain. The hotel service is OK, the personnel is nice, but the cleaning is bad and they often forget to change the towels.
“Nice and clean but not really for the British”
We had a nice Stay at the hotel but found quite quickly that it is a German orientated hotel and found most of the staff and guests to be on the chilly side with regards to interaction of any kind. Most of the food was of a German theme and even entertainment!! where the hotel staff would allow you to play your own Cd's; we were told that if the Germans complained our Cd would have to be stopped. It was overall a clean environment but we did feel somewhat alienated and preferred to go out exploring every day or go to the beach rather than feel we were intruding at the pool at the hotel. We found most of the guests were all inclusive so we ate out every night rather than eat in as we did on one occasion, and again were made to feel unwelcome by some of the other guests. One guest did ask why we had chosen to come to San Miguel as it was normally a German resort!! We had a lovely holiday but might have chosen slightly different if it was made clear to us that this was not a resort that that welcomed all nationalities. The restaurants that we visited and the hospitality of all patrons in these establishments was second to none. The hotel was however a disappointment!
