"The original art decorating the rooms, the well-equipped kitchen and large bathroom, the comfortable bedroom furniture and the lovely lounge fittings all combined to make it the perfect holiday spot for us. Wonthaggi had all the things needed for a holiday in January but we didn't see any crowds. They were probably at the popular holiday spots along the Bass Coast."

"Nice little place, perfect for a couple. The interior is very well thought out, feels homely and cosy. Location was nice and secluded, away from big roads. Only downside is that the bed and the pillows weren't the most comfortable but doable for a couple of nights."

"This is our new favourite place on the Peninsula. We had a great week. The cottage has incredible valley views that change constantly in the winter light. Our hosts were brilliant and the cottage clean and comfortable. Loved the local cafe, bakery and winery, The Rare Hare. A short drive to the beach and wetlands, and there are lovely walking tracks into the village."

"Very good overall but the lack of rails makes the verandah stair a bit of a problem for someone in mid eighties. THe towel rack in the kitchen was broken but the manager woiuld be aware of that. The damaged rack came apart when I meya contact with it. t"

"Cute beach shack , great position. It was perfect for 5 of us , 3 generation 🤗 plus a fur baby 🐶 Extra toilet would make all the difference , but overall above expectations. Highly recommended."

"Just perfect for us. Room for our dogs and teenage children. Short stroll to the surf beach. Had a lockable garage for all our bikes etc which was great. Basic cooking utensils and pans but we generally bring our own as we are fussy so not a problem for us. There is a gas bbq which we did most of our cooking on. Loved the added little surprise of wine and beer on arrival. Thank you team."

"Very disappointing, main bedroom was in an outside shed which was not mentioned in the listing. The bathroom that serviced this room could only be accessed by going back outside. Sky light in inside bathroom not sealed around edges which resulted in the place being full of bugs. we only stayed 1 night and left the following morning. Very dissapointing"
