Property wasnt well maintained, the elevator was rikety and old, there was physical damage to the shower wall, there was no plug to take a bath for my young children, the pool looked dirty, the overall property was dilapidated and there was no breakfast like expedia said there was. Im pretty sure expedia rating was 4 stars, i think thats gross overestimation

Great staff and price, the free parking was very convenient and never had trouble finding a spot. The only complaint I have is the smell in the room, specifically in the bathroom just lingered all weekend and made the room smell very unclean.

This place was dirty. There was hair on the sheets and some stains. It’s like no one cares about up keeping this place. Heater was broken. Wouldn’t recommend at all to somewhere else. We just needed a place for one night and this was trash.

The best part about this property was the staff. The check-in and check-out staff were both so kind and cheerful. The bad part about this property is that it is a low-budget hotel and you get what you paid for. The parking lot security gate "arm" was broken, and remained in the "up" position, so it seemed unsafe to me. The shower stream was also poor.

This place is terrible!!! The rooms were filthy. Our room stunk like an old musty attic. They painted over the fire sprinklers which is probably a fire hazard. The staff was rude. I got an eye roll when I asked to check in early. You can’t check in a minute before 3:30pm here. There is nothing close by (coffee shops, restaurants, shopping), ride share is hard to get in this area. It’s a 45 minute walk to any restaurant or shopping. Housekeeping was pounding on our door at 10:45am. Do not stay here. The price was reasonable but not worth it. Don’t waste your money here.

It was in a good location. And reasonably priced. But our room needed repairs. There was a hole in the floor. Lightbulb missing from the bathroom. Nightstand drawer would not open. Towels were small and flimsy. It sounded like the bed was wrapped in plastic because it made a lot of noise, when you sat or laid down.

The room was clean, staff not very hospitable,at night there was a couple having an argument and door were slamming until 10:00pm then, I could hear someone else yelling at someone from another room at night like a lunatic. Furniture was beat up inside, shower head water pressure was bad. Lady's if you have long hair forget about being able to wash or rinse your hair.

This property was so dirty! The pillow cases were all stained. The sheets were all stained. There was HAIR on our pillowcase. There was a handprint with either blood or dark oil on the bed skirt. Very dirty!

The room was dirty, had boogers on the wall and the room had a funky smell when we walked in. The sheets had a weird smell, like stinky feet. The wi fi was not working properly and the lobby was closed by 630 so no way to work. Staff was friendly but I think they could've done a little more when it came to wi fi usage. To me the biggest factor is cleaningess when it comes to rating so thats why I am giving this review.

I had a great time here! Very affordable and many close attractions. The manager Esmeralda was very helpful, & the two girls in the front Gigi & Maria are very sweet and communicative! Really hope to be back again.

Super noisy room, was on the third floor, people above were stomping all hours of the night, the metro rail system also coming by every 30 minutes or so. Came in late and stayed for less than 12 hours just to try and get some sleep but did not. Furniture and bathrooms also very worn and dirty. I guess you get what you pay for. Would’ve rather stayed across the street.

This is not a terrible place to stay the staff are fairly friendly and try their best. However, the hotel itself is out dated and could use some remodeling starting with the rooms. For example, the safe did not work there were no blankets in my room and a tricky door knob. Overall, my stay was okay as this hotel was close to old town San Diego and not far from places to go.

This property was disgusting the room was filthy spider webs in the corners dusty bunny’s in the corner of the floor dirty all on the walls and corner. Toilet was clogged the bed had stains on them. Complete mess and customer service was awful.

Unbelievable
First, you need to know that 8 months ago I trashed my lumbar spine and I still have pain and numbness with tingling all down each leg. So when it's bad I have trouble "doing". Went down to the hotel to check in. When I got there the fire alarms were going off and the building was apparently locked down. NOBODY was in the office, which was locked anyway. I stuck my head in the service window but couldn't call anybody to the desk. Knocked on the counter at the window. No response. So, I limped bacj to the car and phoned Riverleaf. Me: "Are you going to reopen tonight?" Woman on phone: "What do you mean?" Me: "When I got there the fire alarms were going off, the doors were locked and nobody was in the office." Woman says they're not closed. I describe the situation. She again says they're not closed. I'm thinking "a building with the exterior entrances locked is closed, my friend." But ok, whatever. So I get back out of the car and get to the night window. Where there at at least 5 people now. I unfold my cane-chair and sit. I hear what sounds like multiple creditcardrefusals. And the line isn't moving. I waited as long as I could but the lumbar spine injury can cause sudden incontinence....... Made it back to the car before I wet my pants. I wet them in the car. After that I left and didn't come back.
