It looks like we were fully booked for that room type on your arrival date and were not able to place you in a quieter part of the hostel. If you let the front desk know, we would have gladly moved you to another room for the remainder of your stay. Please keep that in mind if you consider staying with us again.

We did send out a confirmation message that states that we are a hostel and would have gladly cancelled your reservation free of charge if you wanted to. We also had rooms available with private bathrooms if that was a concern, you just needed to let us know at the front desk and we would have gladly helped.

Thank you for staying with us and for your review. We are located in the middle of the Gaslamp district surrounded by bars and restaurants that do get lively at night. We try our best to put people in quieter rooms upon request and offer free ear plugs at the front desk.

Thank you for your honest review. Our elevator has since been repaired. All of our bathrooms have fans but we will have our maintenance check to see that they are all in proper working order. Housekeeping cleans all dorms every day but we will make sure they are thoroughly cleaning all the floors.
