Check their Google reviews for a more realistic evaluation of the hole's status. Some how the hotels.com reviews are unjustly high for the state of the hotel.
The hotel is situated in a shabby area, adjacent to a large cemetery. Numerous homeless individuals were present nearby, contributing to a very unsafe atmosphere. We made our booking around noon and arrived in the evening. Upon receiving our keycards, we entered our ground-floor room, which faced the street without any fencing, and immediately returned to the front office, stating our refusal to stay due to the lack of safety and excessive noise. The room had no sound isolation whatsoever; every noise from the street was audible.
I was provided with the manager’s contact information. In our phone conversation, he informed me they would charge for two nights despite our brief visit. Simply walking in and out cost me $300! There are far better options available, even on busy days like game nights.
