“Stay in Salzburg”

Very nice small hotel in middle of Salzburg. Very convenient to all attractions. Modern decor. Rooms were very clean and everything was in very good condition. Great value for the money. Excellent breakfast bar. Very Highly recommended

“Experiencing the 'Sound of Music' !!”

This hotel was truly excellent ! It's location - close to the airport and a stones throw from the city centre was superb. It has a very handy bar and restaurant but we didn't eat here solely because we wanted to be out and about. Bedroom curtains are like black out curtains and guarantee you a decent nights sleep - the bath in the ensuite was excellent for an end of the day soak after a hard days strolling around. The TV has a good selection of channels including live premiership games and channel 46 - the non-stop SOM channel - which helsp you review and appreciate (if you're sad like us) where you've been and what you've seen on the day !

“Walking Distance of Historic Salzburg”

The NH Salzburg is in a pretty good location. Its on the edge of the historical district on the far side of the river from the fortress. Its easy walking distance to all the major attractions, shopping and restaurants. The hotel has 2 computers in the lobby with complimentary internet access. The room was nicely furnished and clean. The staff is very helpful.

“Nice hotel with awkward parking and Internet”

This was my first time staying at the NH and I found the hotel generally nice. It was in good condition, located in Old Town Salzburg, and quiet. What more could you want? The restaurant offered a nice breakfast but for dinner we did not want a full offering so we went to the bar to order off their menu. Sparse offering on the menu. Being vegetarian I wanted a pizza without the meat but that wasn't possible. So I had to order with meat. Odd. Also the parking for the car is a couple of blocks away and is paid separately so please be prepared for the extra charge. Lastly the offer of high speed Internet requires you to sit in the lobby. It is free for 30 minutes and then you have no more unless you pay. To use Internet in the room you must pay 18 euros for 24 hours. This is a rip off as Internet should now be part of the hotels offering. So if you expect free Internet, you are at the lobby for only 30 minutes, otherwise you pay.

“Disappointing customer service experience”

I have stayed in a few NH hotels in Europe and I find that NH Salzburg City hotel customer experience was disappointing. We were in Salzburg for 2 nights and stayed in this hotel. Customer service was poor as the employee that checked us in was rude. Our room was not clean during our stay. We had to call Reception twice. On the second call to the reception, we were told that housekeeping staff had finished for the day and the room will not be cleaned. We had to ask for fresh towels etc. instead of being offered.

“capsule room”

No table, no coffee maker, no iron board, small tv with one channel, crib size single bed, and kind of a capsule room but not inexpensive.
