The most popular and heavily developed resort on the Costa Dorada, Salou is a lively playground for British and northern European package holidaymakers. The nightlife is buzzing though rarely rowdy. It has three excellent large beaches, an attractive promenade with illuminated 'dancing fountains', a water park with dolphinarium and a permanent funfair. Port Aventura, one of the best theme parks in Europe, is just two kilometres away.
