OK. Kind of a mixed review but the negatives outweighed the positives.
Check in was OK BUT guy asks if I have a car. Yes, so he says you'll need a parking permit and starts writing it out and hands it to me. He doesn't mention that THEY CHARGE $12 for parking. The hotel is in a shopping center. The whole place is a parking area. So, for this hotel, ADD $!2/day to your charges. Why don't they just add it to the daily charge quoted? (I just checked and the charge is mentioned on their website which I failed to see). Stil, this is one of those 'we're going to tack on every charge we can think of' type charges that just pi$$ people off.
Clean room (yay!); overall, a nice room but some serious safety/access concerns. We don't have ADA needs but some of this seems kind of basic. Shower: no grab bar inside. Shower floor has no non-slip strips, just a smooth shower pan. The shower head is, not kidding, at least 7' from the floor. I'm 6'2" and my hand just reached it to adjust spray. If you're <~5"8", my guess is you won't be able to reach it.
Toilet: really low. I thought all toilets now had to comply with ADA. In any event, if your knees are trashed, it's pretty hard to lever yourself off it. And NO GRAB BAR! How hard is that?
Finally, the couch/fold out bet looks nice but I think they installed a new one on the previous frame, leaving about 1' of wood base exposed about 15" off the ground. Well, my wife whacked her shin pretty badly on the way to bed. Grrrr!
