Cozy and quiet hotel in Saanen
Very cozy and quiet hotel in this adorable region of Switzerland. Good value for money with a great service, good bar and restaurant. Very nice indoor pool. Public buses in front of the hotel to the center and train stations of Saanen and Gstaad.

I have a very mixed opinion about the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, stylish especially the lounge . The evening atmosphere in the lounge is wauuu!The location is fantastic. The views are magnificent! But I am very confused about the service. Taking into account there SO MUCH staff around, there is always something missing. I spoke to some guests, most of them had the same opinion. The most negative moments were: - mess in spa, no responsible person, water everywhere , no clean towels etc…. - it was my birthday weekend. My friend decorated the room for me with balloons. We left to the mountains and when we came back. To our surprise we noticed all decorations were removed by the housekeeper. I sent the complaint , but no one even bothered to reply or apologize. As well my colleagues sent me the flowers to the room , paid by card to the hotel directly.The red roses were so old and not fresh. The flowers cost 275 CHF . I know the price as the hotel included this to my check out bill, which as well not clear for me why to do so. Probably the last thing . The room I booked ( north facing ) had a different view in Expedia. I believe the hotel must be more specific about the pictures they put. Unfortunately I don’t see the option here to add pictures.

It is a little bit far from the city center, 35 min walking e taxis are extremely expensive. You can use public bus transportation, but late night you have to take a taxi. Minimum chf 30 any place… The hotel atmosphere is amazing. Room very nice and delicious breakfast .

I stayed with my family over Christmas 2031, could mot have chosen a better place. The staff was wonderful, the hotel was charming .and location was perfect. Highly recommend it, doecially if you travel with young children.

Way too crowded considering the covid era. Breakfast was absolute mayhem, crazy full of people. We loved our room (connecting rooms), and the sushi. The staff are all brilliant and very kind and friendly. Food at Vue is really not great I’m afraid. The ribs tasted of nothing and took 1h to atrive. Carbonara was pretty bad, too. Desserts are excellent.

Wonderful stay overall as hotel beautiful and service excellent! Sadly single bed's not comfortable & my friend and I woke up with a back ache. The pool & Spa were unattended: no one picking up towels or cleaning regularly; the water of the pool was murky and dirty as the 2nd day, as so many kids jumping &screaming - it would have been nice to have a cord limiting the left side of the pool to adults wanting to swim laps. Loved having games in the sitting room and fabulous music. Food choice excellent and Igloos a brilliant idea. Thank you

Uncomfortably hard bed that gave me a terrible backache. No bluetooth speaker available in the room. For a trendy hotel like the Huus, I would have expected the possibility to listen to music in the room.

Great stay!
Great for families and couples, tasty food and breakfast, very stylish interiors and friendly staff. A lot of activities (swimming pool, PlayStation, outdoor activities & children’s club included). Small things to improve - room not ready on time, misunderstanding of dinner reservation and incorrect bill at checkout, but it was compensated by free drinks and friendly staff. Highly recommended and will go back.

Excellent service with bountiful amenities in a classy Alpine chique environment. The facilities at HUUS are quite understated as the hotel encompasses much of what a patron wishing for a mountain escape can possibly desire; from the luxurious rooms with mountain views, the well equiped spa and pool, the mature game room and a full bar to enbibe oneself. The complimentary daily activities which are included in their room rates make this establishment a step above what we initially anticipated. The help front desk staff with the likes of David was always ready and will to assist and provide recommendations. The only let down was our dining experince at the La Vue restaurant; a disappointing lentil soup where it lacked finness, seasoning and was undercooked and grainy. The entree of linguine bolognese (instead of the tagliatelle as oredered)was overseasoned. Otherwise, this was a magnificent escape which we thoroughly intend to repeat.

The Huus hotel is wonderful with great competent staff. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed, we felt comfortable right away. Hotel is overall beautifully decorated, the room as much as the lounge where DJ mixing good music.The have a sauna with an incredible mountain view. Very clean room, practical bathroom and tastefully decorated, the bed is very comfortable. The service was perfect. When housekeeping was needed they where very efficient and helpful, all staff alway ready to be at help with a smile on their face. Nothing ever seem like a problem, there where only solutions if we asked for something out of regular service. I can only highly recommend to stay at the Huus hotel also for the location with an incredible view of the mountain. The also have a great garden if you have kids or dogs.

A self-sufficient hotel with its own restaurants, entertainment rooms, spas, bars, shisha lounges, pool, barbeque house, garden - almost like a resort; the kind that keeps the guests entertained in the hotel. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and away from the hustle bustle, this is a good place. Perhaps, a shuttle service would be good since there are two bus stops, from Gstaad and Saanen (??) if im not mistaken, and one of them stops across the hotel and it was so difficult to cross because it was a major road with seemingly high speed limit and blind spots! So imagine the trouble and stress of crossing that road. Or perhaps a tip could have been included in the "How to Get There" information. Other than this, the hotel is lovely, the rooms are so luxe - leather (or patented...) seats, cushion covers and bed rest, and suede cushion covers and bed accessories, etc. Very luxe, classic and OG gentlemen feel (even a woman will appreciate this masculine vibe - i'm a woman! Haha)

My husband and I have lived in Germany the last 2 and a half years. During this time we’ve traveled extensively. We’ve stayed in a plethora of hotels and this one was by far my favorite. The pictures on their website don’t do it justice. It’s an AMAZING hotel. The service was amazing, and the decor and “vibe” of the hotel was great. I wish I could of stayed for a week! My husband and I are 23 & 28. There were hiking trails near by, a sushi bar, pool tables, fitness area, pool, sauna...anything you want, it’s there! I’m so happy with this hotel. I never leave reviews, but I had to for this one!

We loved our stay at Huus and have booked a returm trip already. New hotel with nice clean modern design.Bathroom very small and room smallish but lovely hotel lobby with live music. Our daughter loved kids club which had nice entertainment options for kids only design was odd as it was spread over 3 rooms and no door so kids could just wonder off.. kids ski school and equipment included in hotel room price. Swimming pool and sauna are ok not as swish as other alpine hotels. Lovely breakfast and nice staff! Car rental recommended for trips to town and ski area.

The Hotel Huus almost a perfect family orientated hotel. The supervised child care and playroom is excellent. Thank you Anita! My twins 5 year old loved painting, decorating ginger bread and engaging with the other children. My children especially loved Bella, a singer whose keyboard and songs accompanied afternoon drinks and dinners. Bella was very kind and welcoming of our children who bopped around in front of her at every occasion. A lounge singer during meals wasn't to my taste, but our children (and many others) loved it, so I defer to the benefits of contented little ones over peaceful adult dining. The food was excellent for children and adults alike. The inclusive ski school and ski equipment for kids under 9 years was a huge draw and a success with our children. I have only one negative comment.... On Christmas Eve, we asked for a glass of milk for each child and one to leave out for Santa. I was shocked when a charge of 27 francs appeared on our bill for this - 8 francs (approx £6 or $8) per glass of milk was absurd. I did raise this when checking out (twice) to see if they would reconsider this, but they declined. So, I highly recommend this as a hotel for families with young children, but bring your own milk!! Also, if the adults want to ski, beware, there was little snow when we were there over Xmas, as Gstaad is one of the lower Swiss resorts. For me, the kids ski school was the main thing, but my husband was very disappointed.

The staff was extremely fantastic and helpful, also the room was clean. However, there was no iron in all rooms, so you have to pay for ironing. The place was very suitable for all ages. I haven’t seen any hotel that cared about children like this hotel. My little daughter has had wonderful moments, especially in kids spa.

This hotel was amazing. Our room was very spacious and our two kids, my wife and me were very comfortable. The hotel has great amenities for families and kids. The lobby level, bar area and restaurants are very nicely decorated. The food was also great and the hotel staff very nice. The view from the hotel is also breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel both in summer and winter!

One of the Best 5 Star Hotels we have ever stayed in!! Every family member was completely in LOVE with Huus Gstaad Hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the Hotel is amazing, and the entertainment the Hotel offers for every family member is spectacular! We are very picky guests that only stay in top Hotels, and actually live in a 5 star Resort and are in Resort business, but the pure truth is that Huus Gstaad completely impressed us, and we can't wait to come back next year!!

Enjoyable stay
We really enjoyed our stay - the hotel is beautiful, as was our room. Being slightly outside of Gstaad and Saanen up in the hills meant for lovely views, and the breakfast was very good. The service was a little slow in the busy bar area on occasion, but this didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. We would happily revisit.

An incredible place...
Huus Gstaad is an incredible place to stay - the staff are lovely, the hotel is very trendy and modern, and the restaurant / bar is fantastic. I would advise reading up on the hotel website regarding the activities included in your stay before you book as the information is not offered on arrival, however when you ask the staff are very helpful! It is a great location (right on a bus route, or hiring a car is easy in the town) - both for the town and also for skiing. Couldn't recommend more!

Brand new hotel, full of amenities and an excellent restaurant. Big and well furnished rooms. No AC in October. Just 6 minutes by car to Gstaad. Fully recommended!

The staff were happy to help when asked. They always greeted us when they saw us. The food at this hotel was very tasty. Rooms were always cleaned to a very good standard. They are only a few issues they need to look into 1. The rooms get very warm at night and there is no way to cool them down unless you open a window or door. (Game room was very warm too) 2. No room service 3. You have to pay to get your things ironed there are no irons in the rooms.

Perfect Getaway
HUUS is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The balconies in room and in the lobby restaurant provide beatiful views and incredible sunsets. After a week of hiking this was the perfect place to kick back and recharge. Also amazing food!

Brief : the hotel is fairly new ( maybe 1 year old), so the rooms and the place are extremely well done up. it has all the possible facilities one can ask from a hotel. the decor of the hotel has been tastefully done and the reception area with the Bar and the library area looks classic. Process : the check in / out process was extremely smooth and efficient helped by the ever friendly staff, I can recollect names of Jonathan and David who were very helpful, across the hotel the staff was very helpful. we also had a complimentary pick up and drop to the station. Stay : The overall hotel experience was wonderful, with spacious rooms and beautiful views of the mountains and snow peaks from the balcony ( south facing ). The room sizes were perfect and loaded with all possible amenities and facilities ( including hiking bags and blankets). as mentioned earlier the look and feel of the place was very contemporary with a classic touch. other : the hotel had an excellent Spa facility with panoramic views from sauna and a big heated swimming pool. there are enough areas for kids to play both indoors and outdoors and also had a kid room while parents are trekking. I would highly recommend for anyone to stay.
