"We received a warm welcome at this hotel, which is superbly located on the seafront in Binz. The rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was excellent and the bar was pleasant. The pool and spa facilities were very good and you are also able to book beach chairs on the hotel’s private stretch of beach. This is not a part of Germany that is popular with the British, which probably added to its charm. It is a hidden gem."

"Die Herbstwoche auf Hiddensee war einfach toll. Ja, man sollte beim Wetter flexibel sein. An einigen Abenden konnten wir sogar noch draußen in der Sonne zu Abend essen. Eingemummelt in dicken Jacken aber die Sonne im Gesicht. Es waren Tage zum entschleunigen. Auch die Anreise lief problemlos. Selbst die Abreise. "I payed for the room in advance, but i was charged again upon leave. It was recognized in the last minute and promised to refund me in a week. Parking at the hotel costs extra, so we parked at the station instead. Breakfast can be approached either before 9 or after, but not at any time. If we wanted a dinner, we had to report in in the morning. Strange and somewhat funny rituals. "
