"Initial contact with the receptionist was good. She was helpful& kind. Verified our early-check in request promptly. With open availability, our hotel stay was upgraded from an economy room with a king bed to a room with the lake view on the 3rd floor with a king bed (with no extra fees to the room upgrade the receptionist offered us). 3rd floor hallway did have a funky smell to it, so if you have a sensitivity to smell, it may bother you. Thankfully, our hotel room didn't have that odor. The nature beautiful lake view& sunlight peaking through the blinds in the room does make the hotel stay extra special& worth it. Room was clean. Although one of their lamp on the desk wasn't working. Water pressure & hot water for shower was good. Toilet plumbing&flushing was strong. Rooms aren't sound proof. Did hear a lot of the bustling&convos of other guests passing by our room. Slamming of doors of near-by rooms was heard& loud too. The loud shutting of doors by other guests can be prevented through mindfulness&gently closing the door.
The lobby had a lot of space& seating for hotel guests. Really convenient to see a "lobby pantry " with snacks & essentials for guests to purchase if they dont want to make a drive out. Usual hotel & hot breakfast items- good enough for a small bite to start one's day. Parking was included in stay, which was a plus & location was relevantly near the highway&safe."
