"I loved my stay at Cinqueterre Residence so much. The owners provide so much helpful information before and after check in. It was very good for finding the place, picking restaurants to try, and finding hiking paths. They are wonderful hosts. They helped me arrange a taxi when I left and always filled my water bottle. The breakfast was so good and the property is beautiful. Truly cannot say enough good things. As long as stairs and mobility are not an issue for you, you will love it."

"We loved Hotel Il Saraceno!! This beautiful and peaceful hotel in Volastra, high above Manarola is easily accessible by shuttle bus that runs almost continuously. We loved everything—the decor, the quiet, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the patio—but our favorite was Antonella, the proprietor. She is amazing! Her warmth, efficiency and charm are endearing! Plus, she speaks perfect English!"

"This property was right in the center of town, yet far enough away that you don’t hear the bustle of the busy street below. Room was clean and well kept. The AC worked well to keep the room cool. The BEST was the beautiful private terrace that overlooked the harbor, it was beautiful! Make sure the bring bug spray with you, the mosquitos were out. Ladies were lovely and was great to have a complimentary breakfast. "

Our hostess gave us all the information we needed to make our stay lovely, from things to do to places to eat. Her recommendations were spot on! The room was very clean and big enough for two, though not spacious; bathroom was the best we’ve had in Italy, with space and a great shower. While we knew that there would be no breakfast, Coffee, tea, and lemoncello were provided, with some store-bought pastries if you didn’t want to purchase the wonderful offerings just outside the door. We recommend this little gem - of a town and a hotel - if you go to Cinque Terre! "
