"I reserved a room for 2 nights. I checked in and I as walking to the room, I could see the property had trash and debris out side of rooms.
We always check out room before we unload our luggage. This property was not as pictures show, rooms small, the bathroom was like a small closet. You had to squeeze between door and toilet to shut door. The room was not to the La Quinta hotels I have stayed in.
I immediately wnt back to office to advise I wanted to cancel stay. The lady said she would cancel. I was then trying to find a different hotel. I lost track of time and failed to cancel thru my booking Hotel.com/Expedia.
I didn't remember till the next day. I called Hotel.com and explained, the associate placed a claim for me. I am waiting for response, to help me with issue, so not to have to pay 1 day fee, since I didn't call to cancel thru site."
