"My family and I stayed here (6 total) for our middle son’s graduation from SDSM. The house was well appointed with all of the necessities to make the stay very comfortable. The location provides easy access to all the local attractions and restaurants in Rapid City. The owner was easy to work with and quickly solved a low battery issue with the keyless front door even though they don’t live locally. We will definitely stay at the Zen Den again."

One thing I didn't realize about residential hotels is that most of the guests are there for an extended period of time so in general they will be quieter than guests at other hotels. "This is our 4th holiday home family vacation and by far the best. This home is made for making memories. Although located in Rapid City, you would never know once you check in. The scenic beauty looking out the back at the deer is wonderful. The house itself is beyond comparson to the other homes offered. It simply is luxurious fun!! The pool, swim spa, game rooms, home gym, i cant think of anything it's missing. The bar has been set on this one!"

"Our stay at this property lasted all of about 30 minutes before we tapped out. From the front door, we walked down the steps into a dingy basement hallway with three identical, unmarked doors. "I brought seven boys, ages 7-13 years old, to Rapid City for the State boys basketball tournament, and this home was a perfect fit for us! It had enough bedrooms for us to spread out and sleep comfortably. The bunk bed set up was fun for the boys. I got my own room with attached bathroom which was perfect! "Overall, fine for a single night stay. We stayed in room 105 and the bed was squeaky and could stand to be replaced. The refrigerator made a loud sound that I needed to mess with it to get it to quit. Several lights but all were a very low wattage and difficult to see. I checked out the breakfast area and it looked like it might be good but size wise the area was very small.
