Lovely staff, excellent location.
We really enjoyed our stay. No view from our room, however, we were barely there. The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful with everything. My only criticism would be the beds (mattresses), which were fine but not great.

The property was at a walking distance from city. I did not need to uber/ get taxi to anywhere. However, for the price I paid, the amenities were none. Breakfast was not included, there was no indoor pool/ spa or anything even close. The place did not have air conditioners (which believe it or not was needed sometime) and MOST of the time, there was no one at front desk.

Small room only space for 1 suitcase, bathroom was the size of a cupboard with 600mm clearance from wall to shower curtain , no spare toilet paper, spare blanket crumpled and dumped on floor of wardrobe, no powerpoint in bathroom (had to unplug heater to use hairdryer) , kept awake by listening to neighbouring room snoring then woken by their alarm clock , cannot leave balcony door open as other guests can access via balcony . Did not feel safe . Fire egress via stair however if fire in stairwell no other egress other than jumping off balcony . Powerboard under bed used for appliances . Did not feel safe. Do not stay here .

Manageable walk to city centre and bus. Temporary construction nearby. Friendly staff. Very comfortable beds. Happy with ensuite and shower. TV good. Needs a fan for cooling in hot weather.

A stopover.

This was a lovely little stay. Lovely welcoming hosts, room was really lux and comfy. Everything we needed, small but perfectly formed and a greasy price as well. Queenstown centre just a scenic 5 minute walk down the hill or through the gardens. I’d stay again.

We loved: comfortable bed and room, robes to wear, and a raspberry patch to the side of the house with tonnes of fruit! We had been excited by the breakfast from the reviews but suspect they may have lost their cook (maybe because of COVID?) Because it wasn't that well-cooked.

The room was tiny as was the bathroom. This was a very utilitarian facility but lacked any warmth or charm as expected from a B&B. It is more than a 5 minute walk to town and involves walking up a very step hill to the property.

It is certainly not what you might expect for a motel - well it surprised me, anyway. Everything was wonderful and the owners were too. It's not right in the town Centre which is about a 10 minute stroll so that might put some people off but then the price probably reflects that, although you could drive a few metres to a car park perhaps. Don't hesitate if you like the look of this B&B. You won't regret it.

Disappointed!
This is the worst staying experience in our 20-day South Island trip. The room (#2) is small, but we knew it before we booked and it's okay. However, we could sleep because there was cold air blowing over our pillows and our faces. After searching the source of cold air, we found that it came from leaks (or not being able to close tightly) of big window frame which the queen bed was placed right next to it. We had to place all pillows against the curtain just so as to hold it at place and let the incoming cold air to the minimum. We both had a terrible sleep that night. Also, usually we do not care much about how warm or welcoming the hotel staff are, but we could help to notice that the lady who helped us checking-in was rather cold and indifferent. I felt the unwelcoming at the first minutes we entered the front door. (The male staff who took the night shift was much better though) Finally, one good point--the breakfast was tasty and very good!
