"We visited Sandusky for the 2024 Solar Eclipse, and even this hotel was desolate considering the buzz surrounding the event. It's definitely an older hotel, and some of the rooms are cut off from the main lobby and are accessible only by going outside to the front of the hotel. "We had a great stay in a suite with our kids. We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool which was clean and warm and open until 11 that night. We liked the patio with the fire to enjoy afterwards. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Zack and Katie communicated with me by text to check that we had everything we needed which was a really nice surprise. Breakfast was good and the attendant worked hard to keep things stocked and clean. We will return when going to Cedar Point."
