"Hotel Volcano is in a great location close to shopping, food, and the beach. We had a lovely stay here and the included breakfast was great. We had some difficulty booking from outside the country though. Even through I booked through hotels.com, they made me call and pay with my card by phone which I didn’t feel comfortable with. "We liked this place a lot! The rooms are very pretty and well designed, and the sunset view from the top veranda is really nice with a super-friendly host. The guesthouse is small (3-4 rooms) and located only a block from the beach--you can walk everywhere. My daughter had the top room, which seems newer and has great views, but the middle room (used by me and my husband) is larger and has a minifridge- convenient for snacks and water. Both rooms were very clean and had nice bathrooms and AC....

"Abel was very kind and flexible when I checked in. The view from my room was amazing!! The facility was nice for the cost. The only drawback was that the WiFi didn’t reach to my room, so I had to stay by the lobby in order to use it. "We moved this place, from its location right across the beach, to the decor and service. The place is spotless and the room’s decor and furnishing were top notch. Comfortable beds and the perfect view. Our room led to a mini jacuzzi and it was perfect for relaxing after a day full of tours and activities. Rebekka and the while staff were very kind, diligent and professional. I highly recommend this place. Worth the price. "
