The one and only issue I had was that it was loud in the mornings because it’s close to the Main Street and the sliding glass door was not very soundproof.

By far the best hotel I have had the opportunity to stay in for a vacation. I received a room upgrade and the view was outlandishly extravagant! Normally I put the do not disturb sign on my door , but it kept flying off so they cleared my room daily. It was extremely safe with the only way to get to your room is by your hotel key. Everything was central to my location and even the airport was relatively close. Highly recommend staying at this hotel and taking advantage of the amenities when available.

Very clean rooms and comfy beds. Staff is great and the roof top pool is awesome. Dj spins from 5-8 and there is no kids!!!

Front desk staff are always wonderful and very professional. I’m not sure why there is not a coffee pot in the rooms being that every other hotel has them…??

Your staff make this a 5 star experience. Your leadership team appears to also work hard and people enjoy their colleagues and work (from what I could see). The very minor concerns (DJ blasting at volumes over 90 decibels at the pool: bring earplugs and you’ll be fine!) the mildew smell when air conditioning running (turn it off when you’re in your room it never got too warm) I would recommend this place

The room was very comfortable, clean, upgraded and well lit. The location was not too far from the airport or zona romantica. There is also a vegan cafe - viva la vegan within 10 min walking distance for any vegans out there. The pool on the roof top is beautiful. Live music/DJ was ok and a bit loud. View is great and you can also walk down to the beach of the neighboring resorts. Our room faced the ocean and the road and was noisy at times due to the traffic.

Pool to small. No access direct to beach. Your key only takes you to your floor and if you have other party sucks because you cant go to their room

Here's your review: Me and the hubby recently had the pleasure of staying at Mio Hotel. The room was cozy and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The highlight, however, was the pool area, offering a refreshing swim with a stunning view. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a food park made dining options convenient and diverse. Overall, our stay at Mio Hotel was great, we would stay here again!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, 1. we were required to wear an armband to access the hotel; 2. the breakfast buffet offerings were unchanged day to day; 3. the fitness center/gym was run down; and 4. there was no direct beach access.

Staff is very nice. Breakfast buffet is okay 6/10 Rooms are big and lots of space everywhere. Shower pressure is amazing, one of the things I loved the most. Over all this hotel is great. I would stay at Mio again if I could. We are used to staying at 5 stars hotels like Wynn Las Vegas, so when I tell you Mio hotel is Okay, believe me it is okay 8/10

We booked at HOTEL MIO to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Well, what a treat!! Our overall experience was a 10 out of 10. The hotel’s facilities, from the restaurant, to the large room, to the rooftop pool and the cabanas, were absolutely the BEST!! Our room had a spectacular view of Puerto Vallarta and the Bay Area. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The shower was absolutely AWESOME!! We loved the surrounding area as there was so much to see, many places to visit, and a wonderful variety of places in which to dine. We will DEFINITELY be going back to HOTEL MIO.

Great place to stay! Good location. The rooms are large and all rooms have a balcony. The shower is huge. Using the app to access the elevator and room worked really well, I wish more hotels would do this. The roof top pool is amazing, the cabanas fill up close to noon. The temperature of the hot tub could’ve been a little warmer for me but nothing to complain about. Others we met there had been to the hotel multiple times and said it was the best place to stay in PV. There is “beach access” through the Friendly resort BUT on our second day of enjoying the beach we were told that the beach lounge chairs were only for the Friendly guests, not Mio. So yes, you can get to the beach but you can’t use the chairs or umbrellas for shade. Or maybe it depends who is on shift.

Great location and very spacious room (and spacious walk-in shower)! We stayed at a high-floor (9th floor) end unit with both ocean and views!! Buffet was excellent! The only feedback I have is that shower and tap run cold for a quite a long time before water becomes warm. Seems like a big waste of water.

Ordering food at pool rooftop would take upto an hour. The service staff when we arrived at the front desk refused to give us an extra card for our room claiming they could only give one and my partner would have to download an app. Once we spoke to management turned out they had run out of cards. They gave us an additional card later that evening.
