"We had a wonderful vacation, and the property was nice. The staff were helpful and attentive. Food was quite good, particularly the Italian concept. The pool area is tight, and although we were there on a lower attendance time, I could imagine it being tough to find room.
Overall, the experience was good. Playa Del Carmen is its own thing... like most Mexican/ Caribbean spots, the vendors are aggressive almost to the point of seeming threatening, but things are very mellow on property, and they genuinely try to make your stay social.
Very nice for a long weekend, but probably not suited for extended stays, unless you intend to do excursions. Recommended."
