“hidden gem”

Paradise Beach is in an excellent location overlooking a picturesque cove with sandy beach. The all-inclusive option is great for the whole family - besides the restaurant, there is also a beach bar and a poolside bar. It is only a 10 minute walk into Portinatx itself where you will find a larger beach, a small waterpark and various shops. The resort is surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. From the Paradise Beach poolside or your balcony, the sunset is amazing. There is entertainment (a show) around the pool at 9.30pm each night and a mini disco for the younger kids at 8.30pm. There is a good choice of food in the restaurant and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The studio apartment was spacious and very clean. The one bedroomed apartments were fully booked whilst we were there, but they are even bigger. There is a lovely atmosphere around the hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it. Be sure to take the 3-hour mini train to the local beaches and sights. We did the Caves tour. We also enjoyed the glass-bottom boat trip and went into Es Canar for the hippy market on Wednesday although there is a smaller one on Sunday evening in Portinatx itself.

“Paradise Beach”

The location of the hotel and view from our room were spectacular. We booked not knowing that this was an all inclusive only hotel. It was geared for families looking for a budget holiday, and whilst this is understandable it skews the hotel arrangements. We ate only breakfast in the hotel which was passable but nothing special. There were no "adult" facilities such as a bar lounge. The access to our room, carying our own luggage was up two flights of stairs, two elevator rides and a long walk.
